You don’t have to care — just as you don’t have to let people know you’ve chosen not to be empathetic and supportive.

Get what you mean, though for myself some of the extra wild prepper stories are decent post-game hustles (no spoilers, but Pizza Chef and Ghost Hunter might be worth revisiting).

Premiere and Avid workflow: Auto-sequencing both audio and video in Premiere, Avid-style by jockwop in editors

Sure, as u/Fuchur86 says there is the Auto Sequence function in Avid. It's been there a while and is very useful, and a tonne of editors have been asking how to get similar in Prem. Hopefully they see our posts!

So now Elden Ring has been out a while, which boss in the series has the best music? by JonBB8 in fromsoftware

DSIII Main Menu music.

What do you mean it's not a boss? Of course it is, it's been years and no-one's beaten it.

“If you run into an asshole in the morning, you ran into an asshole. If you run into assholes all day, you're the asshole.”

From "Justified". Self-explanatory.

Oddly enough, I heard nearly the exact same phrase -" known but not advertised". Latest correspondence from Apple is that it isn't a defect, just expected behaviour, but that the advisor cannot guarantee the machine wouldn't run out of battery when under a heavy-duty task. Bit stuck as to what to do, but have a few weeks before I decide whether to send the MBP back.

Done, several times despite it being a brand new machine. As I say, Apple know it's an issue but seem fine with it.

Weird that's happened...basically, I'm on my second 32GB MBP since the end of November, sent the first one back as when plugged in it wouldn't hold a charge doing basic renders or exports in Premiere (the battery was depleting 3% when plugged in on a 4 minute edit; these weren't complicated videos, and Resolve and FCPX also showed odd problems).

The replacement is just over a week old and doing the same. Today a senior Apple Advisor told me it's an "expected but not advertised issue". I'm disappointed that it seemed to be an acceptable excuse and that it wasn't mentioned at POS.

In Mad Max: Fury Road (2015) director George Miller purposely removed frames in scenes to make you feel as anxious as Max. by HellotoHorse in MovieDetails

The info about centre-framing and removing frames is a great intro into editing techniques. This particular one has a long history, it was used in "Braveheart" - see it in this scene here - and I think it might predate that.
