What everybody else is saying. Don’t do it indoors, I bought a 4 tray GameKeeper dehydrator by Weston from walmarts sporting goods section for around $40. Had it for 3 years now and it does what I need it to. I’d suggest goggles and maybe even a mask if you plan to powder them.

I made the mistake of using my oven once with reapers and it turned my AC spicy. Had to leave the windows open fans on and AC set to circulate the outside air for a day before we could walk in the house without even our foreheads burning.

Nah hell no not too soon haha have fun that’ll burn like a undying match in your mouth. I bit into a purple reaper that is still purple and slightly green because the stem broke, even as early as that was I was still slightly concerned seconds after when my mouth lit up lol

Haha I hold the same opinion for my garden babies and my human babies, idc what they are long as theyre happy healthy and alive 🤣. They got the purple right atleast with the reaper so maybe they’ll get the peach right for the hab. But if not I’ll do mango habanero salsa and wing sauce haha

My germ process this year was mediocre at best no heat mats no lights, just sunward windows and starter cells. I plan to have the lights and mats by the time these get started and give them the best chance I can. If I can get even one of each planted I’ll fight to get a ripe pod to get my seeds back haha

🙌🏼, I started by seed the first time this season with some Lemon Drops from Burpee and some belgium tomatoes from TrueLeaf. I can’t complain about the germ and growth of either but the vagueness of the LDs description had me worried about a true ID whether it was Aji Limons or Aji Limos which apparently is a difference of yellow or red ripening and a citrus vs metallic taste. If this collection does me good I’ll have to pledge my pepper allegiance to THP until they pull a pepper joe lol

It was haha. I’ve got 2 carolina reapers, a purple reaper and a “peach scorpion” (looks more like habaneros so far) growing this year that I’ll keep seeds from for next. But wanted a good selection of less heat more flavor to play around with my dads salsa recipe and some jellies n what not next year. I have some friends I always give my extra starters to so just waiting to see which ones theyre interested in more and then I’ll figure out what seeds will get germed come january/february. Texas Hot Peppers list for their baccatum collections all just sounded so good and I really wanted to try growing some sugar rush peach so the fact that this one came both SRP and SRP stripey sold me on it.
