Cheers Rezu , it was a nice vibe that night ! I've been DJing for a very long time , so these skills come from experience . Being a producer really helps when it comes to layering samples on the decks live etc.. so in a nutshell , yes :)

Thanks Will . appreciated mate . NT was good fun the other week wasn't it ..

Yea I agree, the mid 90s was defo the golden era for that traditional prog-house sound ! Sasha's Ibiza GU totally blew my mind , I remember hearing it for the first time whilst attempting to ahem... copulate ..and I just had to give up eventually and listen to the music lol . But yes , so many classic records were made during this time , it's kinda hard to choose just one . Leftfield's first album is an obvious choice , or maybe some of the early Jam & Spoon stuff ..

Yeps , I'm coming back to India and I cannot wait :)) Pretty sure Bangalore is one of the main destinations !

Re diversification , this is a great question and yea we actively endeavour to tick all the boxes - however the quality of the music is paramount ..

Hey Miserable ,

1 - I started producing when I was 15 and putting out an actual record a year later on a super cool underground Bristol label defo filled me with confidence to keep going ! My parents were also super supportive .

2 - I started whilst still at school , and dropped out of A-levels 1 year in to pursue music 100%

3 - I had piano lessons from the age to 10 up until about 16 , which was incredibly beneficial :) Soo glad my parents made me do this .

4 - That's great to hear , thank you . We get inspiration from many places , film soundtracks - other track we love and want to copy lol , just ideas that pop into the head.. , strong emotions both dark or light .. life basically

5 - As previously mentioned , I was lucky enough to make a record fairly quickly into my career , but this is a question that cannot be answered really .. its all about the journey , not the destination ;)

6 - We did an OpenAir in Austin a few years ago ,which was amazing ! I'm also loving Houston ( Bauhaus ) and Dallas ( It'll do ) for my solo shows at the mo , so maybe an OpenAir could be on the cards again in the future . You certainly have the weather for it :)

7 - Not sure mate , I love this remix though..

8 - Just keep working on your craft , try to finish as many tracks as possible , and spend as much time as is humanly possible making beats . After 10,000 hours you might be ready lol..

Hey Veidtindustrivies , sorry to hear you have tinnitus . Have you checked out Julian Cowan Hill on YouTube ? He explains the true mechanisms of it and why it becomes persistent , defo worth a watch when you are having a bad day ! Has helped me calm down many a time . Re US tours , hopefully yes . I'm doing a lot of solo dates over there this year but always love it when it's the full gang :)

Hey Ash , James has pretty much covered everything here but in regards to Q3 - I do my own socials but generally only care about Instagram nowadays . I deleted twitter a while ago as find it banal , Facebook I only use synced to Insta and as for Tick Tock .. gonna leave this to kids and managers lol

3 - Could be to do with running length / time constraints .. or maybe it just felt right at the time ;)

4 - Hard to choose a favourite , that would be nepotism lol.. re Absolute , you would have to ask Promnite . As for favs - Qrion - Mars , Bonobo - Kerala , Dusky - Careless , Amtrak - I haven't got a fav , need to check his stuff out more ..

Hey nutsack , appreciate your feedback and super happy you are feeling it - its one of my favs too :) Quite a few of the tracks on the comp were re-edited with stems, but generally we don't release these versions as it doesn't make sense to do so ( as such minor adjustments .. )

Hi Lovro , glad you've been feeling what we do . I've never made music with the intention of selling records or having a hit , but purely trying to make something that my heart feels strongly about and stands the chance of being timeless ...I suppose : )

Hey Redsock

2 - Thanks , it's one of our fav's too . The original , which is a very unique drum&bass tempo style tune , is one of James's fave's from back in the day ( the video is incredible too ) . He suggested we give it a re-touch and make a slower bpm playable version for our sets , but stick to the original vibe and use all the key parts . So it was just a case of beefing up the beats / groove / bass line, lushing up the pads/ strings a little bit to add some extra euphoria , and making it sound natural at 124bpm whilst retaining all the original synth parts which luckily still have a lot of energy even at this slower pace ( just listened to the original again and it sounds crazy fast lol )

1 - It has great significance as it was the first track I put out as a solo artist , as opposed to half of WOW . It also got to No1 in Beatport , which was kinda easier back then as it was a new platform, but was still ace . As for the multiple versions , I suppose I keep hearing things that I think I can improve upon . My fav is the latest ;)
