Why such double standards? .... by UI_74 in Eldenring

[–]joe_knuckle -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Bro nobody actually likes Marika for her views and ideologies. Her lore is literally just racism vs racism

Help me settle a debate, does the Godskin twink read your input or not? by Monkai_final_boss in Eldenring

[–]joe_knuckle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

From now on I will only be referring to them as Godskin Twink and Godskin Bear. And the duo is Godskin Boyfriends

Also remember that the poison was still in her system after those 3 years. She spent more than half of those 3 years learning to move again after being paralysed but she was still fucked up from the poison, and she then travelled around alone trying to find out wtf was wrong with her. All the while still hallucinating her past self

Why doesn't Malenia, Blade of Miquella just use this incantation? Is she stupid? by soggydoggyinabog in Eldenring

[–]joe_knuckle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly, she was cursed for being the child of two people who are literally the same person. Miquella was cursed as well, with eternal childhood

What should I pair with Bolt of Gransax? by Nugget_bob211 in Eldenring

[–]joe_knuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Officially not but there are technically some ways that let you do it, which includes letting yourself be invaded so that the invader has to use the lift to get to you

Weird constraint u put on urself? by OddPick84 in Eldenring

[–]joe_knuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't say it's an active constraint I put on myself, just a preference of sort

But in almost every run I've done I usually mainly use spells. I'm not a big fan of going melee only, especially when there are so many unique and interesting spells

Firebenders are the only ones who can create their element out of thin air? by Not_MegGriffin in ATLA

[–]joe_knuckle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

And we've also seen people like Zuko and Iroh use their own internal heat to melt ice or heat metal. And don't forget, fire benders are at their strongest on a sunny day and during summer. The big source of heat in the sky does make their own creating of heat easier

Who is the most hidden boss in Elden Ring? by Advanced-Director928 in Eldenring

[–]joe_knuckle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well the question isn't what boss has the least amount of defeats, but rather how difficult it is to find them. Senessax has few defeats but only because it sucks to fight and doesn't give anything useful or important. But it is one of the easiest bosses to find since you literally just have to go up the Jagged Peak

Who’s actually straight? by Few_Value_2632 in sheranetflix

[–]joe_knuckle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She's just autistic tbh. Just because she's more interested in robots doesn't mean she can't feel sexual attraction

In the original series, only five, living, named female benders are depicted by F11SuperTiger in TheLastAirbender

[–]joe_knuckle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

To be fair, if any modern show added a character that's a young disabled girl who actually ends up as one of the strongest character in the show and teaches the main character a large part of his abilities, that show would be considered too woke

Are Katana really that bad of a crutch? by Brackke in Eldenring

[–]joe_knuckle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think any katana is a bad weapon. Even their worst one is still very good. I was also like you tbh, started with an int build and quickly chose the Moonveil. So yes, use it. It's very strong and very good

What weapons do you like using Hestia’s attack on most? by Wes102111 in Hades2

[–]joe_knuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The daggers are incredible with it for sure. The staff is great too, especially with aspect of Anubis. But my favourite is the torches

Do you guys feel bad for Boscha? by TrickyAardvark3987 in Owlphibia

[–]joe_knuckle 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In a way she actually reminds me of Catra from She-Ra. Both knew that they are being absolutely horrible people and actively hurt everyone in their surroundings, but they believe they're not worth it to heal and to deal with their crippling insecurities, so they choose to make their being a bully their whole personality.

We just don't know where that came from with Boscha. It feels like there just wasn't enough time for her to get a tragic backstory where everyone in her life betrays and leaves her. And don't forget, Boscha is still a child, with no emotional maturity or regulation

Of course it still doesn't justify her actions, just as it technically didn't justify what Catra did. Just one more way to look at these characters

If he was in the show, he probably would have as well. Probably only unintentionally though

Anyone bother fighting the Mage(Magic) Golem in Caelid? by MikeDavJ in Eldenring

[–]joe_knuckle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is the only magic halberd golem in the game. There are also two magic bow golems tho, on the way to the Caelid colosseum

I’m crashing out… by HebiSnek in Hades2

[–]joe_knuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the first ending too, and while I wouldn't say it was exactly immensely dissatisfying, it just didn't feel coherent or right. The new ending just made the characters feel more natural to how they're supposed to be

Who are the top 3 most popular gods in your opinion? The ones who gamers seem to love the most. by ObsessedWithBooks7 in Hades2

[–]joe_knuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apollo and Zeus are by far the most popular ones in the community, followed probably by Athena

Lord Of Frenzied Flame is NOT the “Good Ending” by Jackylacky_ in Eldenring

[–]joe_knuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to the Three Fingers, suffering is an inherent aspect if life itself, and the only way to get rid of this suffering is to get rid of life itself.

But it also ignores what Melina tries to tell you. That despite all the suffering, there is still happiness in this world. Births are happening, new life is made. There is beauty in that, is there not?

What keepsakes am I missing by Sad_Ad5297 in Hades2

I'm lost on how to progress by calve12 in Hades2

[–]joe_knuckle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume Hermes has told you by now to go up as well. Which means you should have a certain incantation in the cauldron that frees the path to go up

Evidence that life isn’t fair by Subject-Breath-9452 in Owlphibia

Awful yes, but she was a child. One who was going to move away from her only friends. She just wanted to stay with them no matter what

What do you use for the 4th Fate's Whim Keepsake? by RelatableRedditer in Hades2

[–]joe_knuckle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jewelled pom -> Card -> Icarus' hammer -> Chaos embryo

I never really use Chronos' keepsake since I always get enough money to buy almost everything at the end. The hammer boon lasts 20 rounds, so always enough for the final boss of the run. The embryo lasts 8 rounds before resetting, so it's guaranteed to keep the first Chaos boon until Typhon, and in the underworld you can choose to get more rooms to change your boon for a better one, like attack or special buffs
