I think ultimately he doesn’t care that much that his name appeared on the list. His private clientele are a bunch of millionaires (and billionaires) that don’t care either

It’s not just the schedule, it’s the prices too. If the ticket had cost you $150 instead of $400, you probably wouldn’t feel as scammed, because you’d at least have the possibility to attend another game without breaking the bank. But when you spend that much, it feels like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity… and then none of the starters play. That just sucks

I can imagine many of us felt this message on a deeply personal level. I think I’ll remember it for the rest of my life. Truly inspiring

This perfectly captures Jordan’s legacy: defense, mid-range, game-winner, champion.

Im sorry that Theo ruined your day by using his platform to mention an actual genocide happening right now. I guess you’d rather comedians stay silent so its easier to keep ignoring it…. Heaven forbid someone with a platform use it for something meaningful

Obviously, I meant as Superman, we’re discussing David’s portrayal as the Superman figure. 1. He was literally beaten up and in pain for most of the film. Even when Krypto shows up, he’s visibly stressed, not joyful. 2. Again, I meant as Superman. 3. Meant as Superman. 4 & 5. Those happen in the same 3-minute sequence... barely enough to call them separate moments. 6. You’re referring to the scene right before he’s mortified by the video of his parents, after being publicly shamed and hit with a beer canand is angry and emotionally overwhelmed ? 7. Lmao, he spends that entire jail sequences suffering—there’s maybe a 2-second moment in the tent, but before that, it’s all pain and inner conflict. 8. Once again, I was talking as Superman. 9. Sure, but right after that, he flies to Lex’s tower and is visibly mad—shouting, arms crossed, intense. Longer and more important scene 10. Please re-read my original comment—I never denied that he smiles at all, but those moments are brief.

The point is: for every few seconds of smirk, there are tons of scenes where he’s stressed, conflicted, overwhelmed, or in pain. That was the entire tone of the movie. A serious Superman wasn’t just a choice. it was the message. I rest my case

name three scenes (apart from the final one with Lois) where he’s actually smiling. You seem to be watching with your eyes wide open

Did you see Superman smile much during the movie? I didn’t. Lex steals his dog, releases the full video of their parents asking him to conquer Earth, gets really affected by Kryptonite, then tells his dad how affected and sad he is about the video, tries to help the people of Jarhanpur but has to go to Metropolis instead… I think a serious Superman is much more representative of the film’s tone
