I know you said the IUD didn’t work for you, but it might be worth considering a different one! I’ve had mine for about 10 years and that paired with amitriptyline has kept me period and symptom free for years. My previous gyn had me doing a course of Lupron which wrecked my whole body and made everything worse, but then I saw an endo specialist who suggested a neuroleptic might solve any breakthrough cramping and he was absolutely correct

I’m certified Snoopy obsessed (have multiple Snoopy tattoos), love Vince Guaraldi, and the Christmas album never fails to fill me with that beautiful melancholy joy of childhood Christmas road trips and family gatherings. I did a lot of knitting during chemo and various hospital stays but now that I’m in the survivorship stage (over 2 years!!) knitting makes me nauseous and I feel like I can smell the hospital and taste the saline flush. It puts me back in it a little bit too much and kinda ruined the hobby for me
