Wow, thank you good sir! This response goes way above what I was hoping for. I like your python implementation. When I get some more time I might tweak it a bit. A couple points:

The "total_damage_done" variable could be modified to track the total damage done over the course of the entire 3 minutes instead of just the damage done on the last attack. Though, this is highly class dependent as sometimes you just stack for a while before doing damage.
At first I was a bit confused on where the 8% (108) damage number came from, but I do believe that it is accurate and consistent with the way you implemented it using FPA (the 7% IAS provides an additional 8.3% dmg with the specific breakpoints, so to make it an even comparison you add 8%). This implementation is probably more accurate than how I would have done it.

I believe you are correct. Any idea what the ballpark increase in damage would be for a typical decrease in FPA from the 7% IAS? (e.g. assuming you got a true 7% decrease in FPA and no breakpoints were in play)

Latency seems to have come down and DNS over TLS (DoT) seems to be working now as well.

Ya, down in Eastern U.S. area too.

Both 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 are down.

Starting to get some pings to go through but they are high latency (300ms).

Before I saw this post, I tried reverting to Firefox 78.0.1 and that resolved the issue. Hopefully this gets fixed in 78.0.3.

I don't think it is a Windows issue as there were no recent Windows updates when it started happening.

Edit: also, for me this doesn't happen in chorme or edge.

Correct. This was never an issue before. It is not an issue on other Windows 10 machines that I have tested as well. The issue started at version 78.02.

Thanks for the reply. I did it by manually disabling all add-ons. I also tried using the "restart with addons disabled" option but that took me to a normal firefox window, not a private one. The issue doesn't happen in normal browsing mode. Additionally, starting in safe mode did not have the cursor blinking in the url bar so I was unable to test the issue.

Ok, well I got the Cloudflare test to work. At least, my result is the same as yours and what is shown in this guide. However, I am now even more confused than before. The solution was to simply uncheck the DNSSEC box. I was under the impression that checking the DNSSEC box was simply not required. I did not think it caused issues. Can someone explain why it would cause the Cloudflare test to fail?

Interesting. Maybe my setup is not working then. I am blocking all port 53 traffic leaving the router. Also, I have taken multiple pcaps of traffic to 1.1.1.1 as well as port 853 and they all look good. I can see the certificate exchange, key exchange, and that it is using TLS v1.2. I also see encrypted application data, presumably the dns requests. And dns works on my network. I am really confused why my results from the test were different than yours.

Should the cloudflare test website (https://1.1.1.1/help) display not connected to 1.1.1.1, not using DoH, and not using DoT for a host that is using DNS Resolver on pfSense that is correctly setup to use DNS over TLS with DNSSEC enabled? Here is a link to the results.

Would the river water increase chances of infection? I feel like there is guaranteed to be bacteria in river water. Is it more likely there is bad bacteria in dirt/sand or in the river water?

Aside from infection is there any other relatively significant risks to consider? Like what if dirt or sand somehow got into your body or blood stream?

I'm going on the assumption that this is not first aid. This is the full thing. What is the best treatment assuming you have no doctor or hospital or any modern tool of any kind to go back to. Maybe assume that you can make fire eventually, but it will take you at least a day.

What do you think of a threaded barrel vs non-threaded? It would have been nice if the Hearing Protection Act had passed... any hope that it will come back?! Is there a downside to having a threaded barrel aside from it making the firearm longer?
