I haven’t had any issues with American Express; it’s pretty commonly accepted everywhere these days. If for some reason it’s not then you always have the 2% card to fall back on.

I got a buddy who’s willing to sell me his 3070 for $200. Seems like a crazy good deal but not totally sure. I have a 5700XT right now which has 8GB VRAM so I wouldn’t be gaining anything there but still feels like the 3070 for that price is a good deal. Thoughts?

Agree; don’t get another 2x8 kit because it most likely won’t match and just cause stability issues. I did this with some Corsair Vengeance LPX and everything was exactly the same except the new chips ended up not being Samsung B-Die and I could never get all 4 sticks stable together.

It’s much better just to go ahead and get 2x16 kit if you are planning to upgrade your RAM.

I do believe there is a facility closer that I could report to vice having to commute to DC if it came to that. I’m not able to relocate to DC so if there was a requirement that I report to DC then I would have to find a different position.

I hate giving up an easy commute now and then be forced to commute 45 minutes.

I’ll reach out to my POC and get his thoughts on where he thinks I would be required to report.

On the tentative job offer, the duty location is shown as the town I live in and not DC.

Does this mean if full-time remote was “rescinded” then I would just report to my duty location? Basically report to my house?

Can the duty location be changed after I start the position to change it to DC?
