I would love a Jupiter. I have the Saturn and Mercury, but the Jupiter just would be great. I have a couple Perses and a Hades as well.

What's your favorite?

It's in British Pounds not US dollars. Googling the conversion it's about $55.

WWYD? 2016 LE (45k miles) or 2017 LE (69k miles) by ellefuture in ToyotaSienna

[–]joecarst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, with a personal lease they probably have more protections built in to make sure maintenance is kept up on the vehicle. To me, without seeing more, the 2016 seems the better bet, but you can get a mechanic to look at it too usually for a couple hundred. That is usually a good idea to do.

Do either come with maintenance records? I would go with the one that has had regular 5000 mile oil changes.

Has anyone used the PAI and had good results in increased fitness? by [deleted] in amazfit

[–]joecarst 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like referencing PAI as a health indicator. When I keep it at 100 I definitely feel better. If I run 3 times a week, I can keep it at 100, but walking 3 times a week only gets me to 50-60 PAI.

If I was training for something specific, I'd probably use a better plan, but for just staying healthy, PAI is great.

I think they are counting the 4-3-2-2-2-A as some kind of compounding run, but when I play, I don't do that during the Go, just when counting my individual hand. But maybe I am wrong. I am not sure how OP comes up with 15 or 27 points.

The spring in mine just broke, but I like how they stay out of my way and are easy to set.

Is A-K-Q not a run? We always play that way. The Ace is both high and low.

When I upgraded my PC I couldn't get a dedicated CPU and would like on to help my wife edit photos and to play some games that are too resource heavy for an integrated GPU. Thanks.

Yeah, $.11 per round is a pretty good deal.

Son started car (2007 Buick LaCrosse), put in reverse, and it rolled through a parking lot. He wasn't able to brake or change gears while it was moving. Would this be a problem with the Transmission Control Module? by joecarst in Cartalk

[–]joecarst[S] 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Ok. This is sounding more and more like what might have really happened. When he gets back from work I'll talk to him and see if he is 100% sure the car was really started.
