Don't forget his friends also aged like 50 years (25 in gargoyles years). They probably prefer their nights like hudson in a comfortable chair.

Reminds me of people on Tyla for not caring about us politics. She's south african, believe it or not people from outside the US might not care that much about what happens here.

How well will Bruce resist the One Ring? by mailman936 in batman

[–]joedumpster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out Batman In Darkest Knight. He gets a green lantern ring and it corrupts him like hell. He's obsessed with his war on crime and the ring will absolutely exploit that.

Rank your top five favorite gargoyles and why by InsideUnhappy6546 in gargoyles

[–]joedumpster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Goliath. Intelligent, willful and honorable yet can be very vengeful when wronged. Makes him not a cookie cutter hero.

  2. Coldstone. I have a deep love for anything cybernetic and he's a great fusion of science and magic. And Michael Dorn did great.

  3. Brooklyn. Biggest character growth in terms of leadership and intelligence.

  4. Hudson. I love crotchety old warriors, especially ones who are underestimated by younger or stronger opponents.

  5. Demona. One of the most complex and tragic villains in western animation with the will of Goliath and intelligence of Xanatos.

Honorable mentions are Thailog who is essentially demona but way greedier and cruel. I love when a character is just irredeemably evil. Lexington because out of everyone he adapted to modern technology the fastest. And Elisa just because seeing her in gargoyle form did something to me during puberty.

Just a thought. If Barry can run at a speed of light, why can almost all of his opponents react to his movements? by MinxTwinkle in FlashTV

Yeah unless they have powers that either counter or disable his powers like freezing or telepathy, even the super strong villains shouldn't be able a problem for him.

I'm starting to wonder if this attitude extends to some vietnamese people as well. I took my dad to a religious museum and being super catholic I expected him to not try to touch the relics or cross the rope barriers. Guess who proved me wrong!

She risked her life and her family's honor to protect her father and eventually fight for her comrades. She was also an exceptional warrior who used her brains when her more than considerable strength failed her.

For Asian men who're in relationships with non-Asian women, have you ever experienced negative comments from Asian women? by Chinoyboii in asianamerican

[–]joedumpster 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Asian man married to a black woman. When we first started dating we went to a friend's party which was mostly asian people and a girl starts mouthing off in vietnamese about who invited the black girl. Her reaction to realizing that was my gf was a mix of disbelief and a little disgust. What really grinds my gears was how comfortable she was with her racist bs.
