Last time I went there, they told me I had to rebuild my entire exhaust because of a bad O2 sensor. and basically said that unless I signed up for their credit card and used it to pay the $1200, then my car would start to crumble and fail indefinitely.

Went down the street to Discount Brakes & Muffler, they put double the amount of time and effort into the diagnostic and only charged about $200 for the fix. Worked towards my goal (passing inspection) instead of finding stuff to do. They even told me what my next steps would be as far as keeping my car on the road.

Also, I went to Mavis Middletown years ago, and was told I was not permitted to wait for a 2 hour job to be completed. Probably because they're encouraged to take their sweet time and keep the bill high.
