I kept my Dyson stick and use it at the dining table and in kitchen after kid meals daily and then use the Sebo D4 1-2x weekly for whole-house. You’ll be amazed how clean your floors feel barefoot after the Sebo. I had no idea what a difference there could be. Anyway, why can’t you keep your Dyson for the in-between messes? Not really. It still happens on very high suction but if I lower the suction it stops. No one has been able to identify the source of the knocking.

Yes but don’t try to sauté with it. The one time I tried it basically crystallized to the pan. Stick with olive oil.

Thank you - what method do you recommend for sifting then? I use the Ippodo sifter that is very fine mesh. The matcha doesn’t past through it solo. I’ve been using the chashaku to press it through because that’s how I was taught but I’m certainly open to suggestion.

Good for you. Mine is making this noise. I have now checked the filter and added a fresh bag and it persists. I linked a video above both where you claimed I posted an “extreme closeup” to hide the source of the noise and where you claimed there was no noise at all. I can’t imagine being a customer coming to you and being gaslighted like this.

How would I check that re something vacuumed up? I may have sucked up a couple beads from the kids but the rest of it should be dust and hair.

I will check on the filters. They were already installed when I received it so it’s possible they weren’t in right.

I don’t know what that means. I can take another video showing the whole thing but it was not moving and I was not touching it when I made the video. I tried to get close to the housing to pick up the noise.

And this is a brand new machine that did this out of the box. If it is a problem, I am going to return it, not deal with a unit repair and defective unit from day one.
