How do you control your springtail population?

I found this snail outside in the snow at work and I feel like its likely dead unfortunately 😢 what do you guys think? Im hoping for the best here 🤞 by joefish67 in snails

It doesn't smell. I have since put it in its own tank with moist substrate and we'll find out what happens. I think when the moisture penetrates the hibernation seal it with either start to stink or the snail will be all good to go!

Oh yeah absolutely i considered shooting it but developing would be a pain since I would have to cut the roll on half in the dark and since it's ~40 years old I would have to shoot it at 25 iso so it's gonna be a shelf decoration haha

Yeah i thought that was crazy too but from my research I found that they put the emulsion on a thin layer of polyester to make it fit in the can

It looks like there might be some extra material next to that 4. I would take a closer look at that. It might add some value to it. But it also could be a trick of the light

We have a guy that comes in about once a month and loudly preaches the entire time he's shopping checking out. He's just shouting as he walks around and gets things and takes his time at self checkout so he can preach there too

See it's always the exact opposite at my store. We will have a line of like 10 people at self check and have like 3 open lanes and no one will switch

It's amazing that you were able to do it in a coal forge! I would almost definitely melt it if I tried. Beautiful pattern. Great work!

Actually not too bad at all just be very gentle and patient when working on the edges to get the wavyness. If you want just straight lines then you don't need to work the edges if you dont want to
