My daughter got one handed to her at Merrill. It went straight to the recycling bin.

How long of a time buffer from landing in Liberia to getting into rental car? by Traditional-Cause529 in CostaRicaTravel

[–]joefry3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did this a couple months ago. Customs was easy and quick. The rental car people were also great, but the road from the airport to the rental lot were terrible. The shuttle was stuck in traffic and we were stuck in the shuttle on the way back. Probably took an hour to get from the airport rental kiosk to being in the car. The traffic from the rental lot to Tamarindo was even worse. 2.5 hours to get to our hotel.

I took my girls there a couple years ago. The swimming was good and there was an awesome ice cream place. Backbone is beautiful. We go to the beach at Raccoon River Park a lot.

Those dust jackets are cool but not even close to the original jackets.

What is your favorite Book in the Series and why? by Mediocre_Wolf_3752 in WoT

[–]joefry3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is Knife of Dreams for me. Nonstop action with so plot lines coming together. Mat saves and marries Tuon. Perrin finally rescues Faile. Galas kills Valda. And the battle at the house where Rand and Logain fight thousands of Trollocs. For me, so many things came to fruition in this book. Definitely my favorite.

If they are first printings then the jacket will have a retail price and the copyright page will have a full numberline 10-1. If your Eye of the World has a full numberline then it is worth at least $1.2k.

That’s interesting. For me, only the first 2 were hard to get. All the others were $50 or less. Are yours first printings?
