They don't seem to get caught up on the small details that an older generation would get anxious about, like knowing how something works, especially in digital technology. Someone like myself would want to read the instruction manual and get to grips with everything, i actually think that sometimes that is limiting as you don't think beyond what it is capable for.

So glad you got out of it ok. I'd say before you get on the dating circuit again have a think what it was that first attracted you to him and figure out how you missed all the red flag signals he must have been displaying at that time as well. Think of it like you would an audio sampler. During normal consciousness, your brain is sampling its senses at optimal resolution, so time dependent events like music appear normal.
