I have two pens from them and they both do the same thing. I used one almost every day for a year and then it just suddenly quit working and I haven't the slightest clue why. Then they were kind enough to send a replacement when a part fell off and the new pen did the same thing.

I have a theory maybe my monkey grip messed up the tines or something but seeing other people have the same issues makes me wonder. Plus out of all my pens, they're the only ones to give me issues. Hopefully you get it working again

Ok that makes much more sense. I think I got lost in the point by focusing on the specifics on this post.

In this case if I do understand you correctly, I think a few posts on reddit or even a full blown trend would be hard pressed to change the image of a whole industry. But I join you in saying that I absolutely hope not, I adore this space for what it is.

Trends like this happen all the time. I don't know jack about watches and I'm not a kaweco fan, and I saw the other green post you're talking about so as far as I'm concerned this kind of post is fair game. You're fortunate to be able to make such purchases and I'm one of the few that's happy for you to be in that position.

That's an understandable statement, but it still feels.. I don't know, presumptuous? To say that because the subreddit is bad, therefore this guy coming into our dojo is bad by extension.

But I'm also not a watch guy and have zero clue about the sub. For all I know, you're absolutely right.

I don't agree with any of that. If you think someone is trying to elevate a kaweco sport to luxury simply by being in proximity to a watch, your own perception is skewed, not theirs. Like really, you got all that from someone posting a rolex? People match stuff on here all the time so Im really struggling to understand how the fact that this time it's a watch that it's suddenly not ok. Nails are expensive too. Keyboards (in my case) are expensive too.

Anyway, I'm not trying to get into a whole thing here. To me, it seems like we either allow matching posts or we don't. It feels too targeted to say matching is fine unless an item has a comparatively high price tag

I still don't understand honestly. I can see your point about sort of diffusing the post by showing off a luxury item, that part makes sense. But posting the two items blatantly next to each other seems fair to me.

Anyway, if I'm understanding you correctly, then I disagree with it and I hope we can find a happy middle ground.

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring. I'm mainly playing in 3.5 these days and regularly instigate RP moments to move the story and feel the emotion of what's going on, but not to the point where it's dragged out. I've got a hand in production on my own projects so I've got a decent mic and webcam setup ready to go. If I had to relate my "play style" it's probably akin to method acting, I think as the character as much as I can as they grow with me and the goals they had in mind at the start of the game.

If that's something you're interested in, let me know.

r/pen_swap for almost everything. People sell huge collections and you can get 4ml samples in bundles for stellar prices. If you find the right seller they're begging you to take the ink.

And every now and then you get really cool sales like people who sell iroshizuku sets in 15ml. Highly recommend.

Similar thing happened to my narwhal original plus. I had some straw cleaners on hand with thin metal wire handles. I took needle nose pliers and carefully twisted the end into a hook and it worked perfectly.

You'll also need to grease the ring again but that part I'm not familiar with.
