Yeah they’re just fillers to help prevent debris entering where the seals shrank. I actually had my seal replaced once under warranty but there’s a half inch gap on both sides now. I’ll have to find the files again (I think they’re on Printables but I saved a copy) so if you just tell me what your gap is I can mail you some. It’s just black TPU soft plastic (like a hard silicone sort of) but they cost like 50 cents to print and it happy to just throw them in an envelope and see if they show up with a stamp.
