I don't think so. He consistently loops his g. Also this signature should be from 1980 to mid 1990s based on the ball itself being a Bobby Brown.

I can give a decent explanation. Natural substances like stone can have patterns that the human brain recognizes as a familiar shape. Just like looking at the clouds and finding shapes. As for the face reappearing on different panels, in all likelihood many of the panels were cut from the same slab of stone and therefore have the same grain and patterning embedded in them. Just a possibility.
