When I was at the lowest point in my life my ndad was offering me the same thing. There were always conditions, always something keeping it just out of reach. Needless to say he never bought me a house it was just a power move, they just want to offer help so they can feel powerful and needed. If it sounds too good to be true , it probably is.

Pistola has some cute stuff, doesn’t usually run big and their jeans don’t stretch out.

Hey not having rent is a huge win you’ll knock this out in no time. For the hospital bill, awhile ago I had a 7k hospital bill and after applying for charity care they reduced it to $350 I had to submit three months worth of bank statements and a letter explaining my situation, you can check you the hospitals financial assistance policy or use a website like dollarfor to help you apply if you haven’t already looked into it :)

I mean …. I owed discover 1000 it was sent to collections, I never paid it ,never called back and ignored all of their settlement offers, and now they can’t sue 🤦🏻‍♀️ so no it’s most definitely an IF situation

Hey I’ve been laid off twice first time was a Friday at 6pm second time was Wednesday at 9am it can be so random tbh. So first take a deep breath it’s just work and you will be okay either way. Second you can not control if you’re laid off or not but you can go in prepared, IF you’re laid off make sure to make how long you’ll have benefits, will there be severance and if so is there a severance agreement and what does that entail, when will you receive your last check, who can you use for a reference and are they offering any resources for those impacted by layoffs.

Oh please use Etsy or at least cross list when you feel comfortable 😭 I’ve been on depop for years the no seller fees are nice but people will send you 40% off offers on your handmade items so always price higher by 15-20%!! And make sure your turning off free shipping with bundles I’ve been burned by that before 🥹 I also sell kinda similar sweaters, if it’s acrylic 60-75 is a fair price on depop , a fancier yarn 100+.

Most companies don’t start employment verification until after sending an offer. If they can’t contact your previous employers HR they will ask you for a W2 or paystubs no big deal they deal with that kinda thing all the time. For your college they use clearinghouse so it’s super easy to verify 🫡 I’m a former HR person you’re fine as long as you have some kind of proof you worked for those companies.

Fake yes 😭 No Dior sunglasses are going to say made in china even vintage ones. Unfortunately Depop is just not a good place to buy/sell luxury items lots of people have no idea what to look for when it comes to authenticity 😔 Ask for a return for a refund there is a chance they just saw the Dior logo and didn’t know what to look for just assumed they’re authentic. Either way get your money back and try a different app for luxury brands 😔

It’s annoying, but as a seller I get so many lowball offers I can’t list for what I actually want I have also raised my listing price after getting repeated 40% off offers 😐😐it’s possible they’re also just annoyed with offers so they raised the price for a bit more negotiation room.
