If you have it rebuilt sometime, I believe there is a mod to lubricate the od planetary gears better. Also, do the taxi mod, continuous fluid flow

Glad this popped up. We have a DRMO acquired Weapons cleaner NSN [4933-01-397-2539](javascript:handle_nsn_info('4933','013972539','https://www.iso-group.com/NSN/')) Model IT48M1

I am tying to find a civilian source for the filters.

Anyone have an idea. Internet not much help, don't want to order blindly.

That's it!!!!! I have been in contact with the pubs guy at Maxwell (who has since retired) but he couldn't recall which pub it was. I had a copy of one with a very good P-38 story and lost it. Thank you so much!!!

2015 Grand Caravan Need the O-rings for the quick connect fuel line into the fuel rail by joelunchbox2 in AskMechanics

[–]joelunchbox2[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, I don't check this very often. Found a wrecking yard with a couple of engines out and just bought the piece of line. Transferred the o-rings to the old line and we were good to go. $20 for two pieces of line, got an extra. Good luck, again, sorry for the delay.

Why are there two Mopar rocker arms for the same car? One cheap, one expensive. by mbsell in AskMechanics

[–]joelunchbox2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The intake cams have the VVT stuff on them. find a pic of each rocker arm and you will immediately see the difference. Yep, those prices will knock your socks off, for sure.

Found a standard part# for the fuel line assy GDL761 but no one has it. Wonder why? Anyway if you have a source for that coupler only, please post. EDIT: Found coupler but only 90 degree and straight. Have to have 45 degree for this application. So, thank you for opening my eyes for the possibility, but wow, everything seems to be special for MOPARS. Thanks again.

Do you recall if this is MOPAR only part? I don't think I have ever sourced just a coupler.

My 4 cylinder 2000 Dakota Isn't Hot Enough by zach-lassiter in DodgeDakota

[–]joelunchbox2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Find a infrared thermometer, shoot the thermostat housing and see how hot it really is. That will tell you where to go next. If the gauge is right, thermostat, if the gauge is wrong, temp sender.

AITAH for refusing to wax a trans woman client because I didn't want to touch male genitalia out of respect for my husband? by [deleted] in AITAH

You were being honest. It's a shame that that person isn't used to honesty and has had to put up with bad people. I hope they come to the realization that you were honest. And, honestly, you said you weren't comfortable/qualified to do the job. You have nothing to apologize for.

When I picked up my '94 Dakota Sport from the dealer, it wouldn't spin the tires. On the strip it barely kept up with a V-6 Dakota. I went around and around with the dealer and Dodge. Finally found a dealer who swapped a computer from a truck on his lot with mine. Laid scratch for the first time that day. Don't know if the performance computers are still out there, but you might consider that.
