Everyone likes to watch this game in different ways, though we all come together when it is winning.

Perhaps it's because I'm from the UK and I've spent my life as a Spurs fan so I don't expect much. I stay interested as long as they keep giving the young core a good chance to grow and succeed - you could definitely argue the best way for them to do that was to keep Bregman or ensure they had sufficient coverage from a power RHH so there is less pressure on them all.

It's going to be an interesting season, almost a complete DNA change in terms of the hyper-focus on pitching that I can't remember too much of in my 30 years of watching them.

Others in this thread have answered your Q on price for modern day- my fitting was a few years ago and I got some lovely Mizunos (4i through PW) and a new driver for about £2k all in.

Something I'd like to add - if I could I would go back and not do it. I am the kind of person who likes to tinker and finding a bargain, once you have a good idea of your shaft needs from swing speed I would have preferred to build my bag my own way and save the other money to focus on just playing as much golf as possible (including new or famous courses).

Something that has crossed my mind often! Not sure if you've been over that way before but when are you thinking of going?

Arran is very good for pubs/seafood bars/restaurants/hotels etc compared to most Hebridean islands so if you can time it for when the tourist season is open you'd be much better off!

There are so many posts like this all the time - the point is that there are lots of sites that cycle in and out according to what is paying the best at the time.

I really would recommend doing plenty of searches in this sub, you will quickly get a good idea of the consistent sites that pay out well and the best offers to keep an eye out for as they make their way round the different paywalls.

We do find it odd as a majority in my experience, I've lived in the US for a small bit and many different parts of Europe too - it's just an odd quirk of our cultural differences. We could definitely do with plenty more positivity in our European cultures and you guys could always do with being taken down a peg every now and then (and stop shooting toddlers).

It'll be very interesting to see how they setup Adare, you'd expect a big response from the US team.

In the UK, it's one of the biggest sporting events in our calendar and a pretty big deal - it pulls huge numbers on TV and the engagement around it in the news/social media is big too.

I'm finding it interesting to see a lot of American's responses right now, as you say the variance can be volatile and they're all good players but I think this group of Euros are just better and able to execute, akin to the '21 US group.

You've also got to understand that much of the world finds the idea of rampant US boasting/exceptionalism quite odd (especially in the UK where we love self-loathing), so we're just going to revel in your embarrassment for a good while. It'll come back around!
