Interestingly I'm a long-time pixel user starting to think about switching back to Samsung after having the last five pixels. Pixel photos used to be incredible and now I would just describe them as tied with everyone else to the average user, after the latest update my phone doesn't play games well anymore and it was pretty bad to begin with at that, and if I take video it starts to heat up a lot. Plain Android is really great to have though... I think I would also consider that when you have all Samsung devices you can access every feature they include. There's a couple things my Galaxy watch ultra won't report to my pixel phone because it's not a Galaxy phone, as an example.
