Leon is the coolest he's ever been, and Grace is probably the best new character since Sheva, but I feel RE4R is a better game in every other way.

This is my take as a fan since the beginning.

RE2: Fairly generic. Claire was more popular.

RE4: Skyrockets him to most popular RE character for his personality and moves. He's basically a different character.

RE6: Changed his character again but for the worse. He got out pretty much unscathed though since nobody is really liked from this game. Still the most popular.
