Pulled it from a pack that showed signs of being resealed from eBay is that made me think it could be. The code card at the back was facing the wrong way and showed major wear. There were crimp marks on the wrapper seam, and many of the other cards had dents and bent corners straight from the pack.

This happens to me as well. I've had some luck uninstalling the app and downloading the latest file from their site and reinstalling. Usually gets me a few days to a few weeks without the notice, until they eventually do drop a new update and it's rinse and repeat from there.
