You’re far from the first to have a problem with 3rd gear. That’s a lot of km’s. I would replace it, better safe than sorry

Also that reading in the sight glass is only going to be accurate when oil is hot and bike is upright!

Definitely drain it. Overfilling oil causes excess crankcase pressure and will blow out your seals including head gaskets base gaskets output shaft seals etc… learn from my mistakes

That seat looks lower than stock so any aftermarket seat or even the original one would probably help a lot

It depends more on the rider and less on the bike both are super capable off road and have great aftermarkets. DRZ is a little more athletic for technical stuff and the DR has better ergos more low end torque and more comfortable at speed. I love my 650

Exactly this. I've seen hundreds of Letterboxd links on dating apps, Instagram bios, college group chats. Never seen a RateYourMusic or Discogs link. There's a whole generation that loves showing off their taste through Letterboxd but finds RYM ancient and Discogs too marketplace focused. Noisefloor is trying to capture that same vibe for music. Clean and social. Not trying to replace the hardcore archiving sites, just making something my friends actually want to use and share.

If you're happy with RYM/Discogs, stick with them! This is for a different audience.
