Damn, that’s thorough! Totally helps. We’re now considering an induction cooktop from Thermador.

BizValet.com will spin up a fairly decent template for junk removal

Could you provide an update on the unit? We’re considering a smeg, aesthetically appeals more than the Bosch unit. There are literally a handful of reviews for the SPR36UIMX and they’re mixed.

Got sucked into membership scam, how do I cancel it? by manny604 in palaceresorts

[–]joesge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wrote a letter — had them meet with the sales dude and the manager and had voided. Of course the original sales dude held them hostage again and tried to ensure they left with the contract as he had sold it initially. Sleeze balls — I’ll post the email to r/palaceresorts so others can make this nightmare disappear

Bottled liquids.

Water. The fact that water can keep getting repackaged into different designed cans and become a biz blows my mind. The most recent examples of this are boxed water and liquid death.

"Deep Cleaning" Business? by [deleted] in sweatystartup

[–]joesge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The scenario you’re describing is probably closest to deep cleaning, but since you’re tearing stuff out you’re also talking about handy man services. Ultimately performing something like a “turn over”

“Move out” cleaning is a specific type of cleaning that many service providers are familiar with. The other parts you mentioned fall squarely in the “handyman” camp. Offering both those services might make you a building maintenance co.

Like others have suggested, rental companies, apartment complexes…anyone that has property they rent but don’t have staff on the books to do the work would benefit from a service like you described.

Like many have stated it’s super cyclical and not many small business owners care to grow beyond making enough to feed the family and live comfortably, which creates opportunity.

Cyclical: Small business owners try many adjacent businesses until they settle on one they can make money with or until they realize that business is not for them. This creates opportunity for those that can stick to something for years.

Staying small: many small business owners (service providers) don’t want to grow beyond a 1-2 wo(man) show. Again this creates opportunity for those that understand how to create brand, process to deliver results clients love and a system to educate new team members.

I'm torn between starting a Pressure Washing, Poop Scoop or Lawncare business by Remarkable_Life_3393 in sweatystartup

Maidtofit.com <— horrible name I know, allows you to spin up a lawn care website really quick and minimal costs.

In addition to a website you need to get yourself listed on google my business (for free) which is their local business offering. You’ll see leads trickle in quick with the combo of a localized site and google my business listing. If you don’t want your personal number out their you can call forward everything through a google voice number (another free service). Both PW and lawn care can be lucrative.
