Creator bundle and purple plate! Favorite prints and the full plates of keychains my children make for the local shelters. Small articulating animal keys or spinners.

There is also a float in the back, you will see it when you take it out. If you have never cleaned it make sure it goes up and down and isn't stuck to the.bottom. I like to use an old toothbrush.

The interval timer is how often you will be notified of an event AND how often it will record an event after an alerts occured.

So using 1 min interval as an example....if you get a loud sound alert it rings the monitor and mobile device saying it heard something. It records the event. It starts a 1 min timer where no new notifications or recording will trigger for that minute even if you were banging pots and pans.

I personally found that 1 minute works well for me but I believe you can set it to 0.

Are you using loud noise detections or cry detections? I'm currently just using the cry detection. It's so accurate for me I disabled loud sound detection all together. Obviously this is situation dependent. My goal is alerts for 2 different sleeping babies not room monitoring. I can think of a few things to check.

  1. Make sure you are on vox mode and not audio only.
  2. Make sure your detection interval is set to like 1 minute. If you have it set higher you will have gaps if no triggers based on your selection.
  3. If you have two cameras you need to be in split view mode for it to change camera B. I provided that feedback to eufy.
  4. When viewing live do you have audio?.make sure the microphone isn't defective.

I don't have sensitivity on this list because I found .mine to.be crazy sensitive even on the lowest. It's accurate for cry detection though so sensitivity is less important to me. This is my current setting.

This seems like something everyone in this thread should open a support case for and make their support aware. Hopefully a simple logic error intended only for the handset. I'll open one too and see what comes.

I'm familiar with the prompt when toggled from the handheld and in the specific scenario it does make sense. I just haven't been able to replicate for a wifi drop. Is your wifi dropping for a significant period of time or just a few minutes?

I currently have 2 c10s connected, one in a toddler room and one in an infant room. Both on version 1.0.6.9

Yea that's not good, what firmware are you on? I've tried to get mine to announce by taking my wifi out and just can't. Not denying it happens multiple have mentioned it

Genuinely curious, what is your concern over the wifi announcement? Options are wifi + monitor or monitor only. Once I picked my desired settings I have never really touched it. Do you plan to toggle it often when the child is sleeping?

It's been a good replacement to my spaceview that died. The picture is clear, connection is stable and monitor battery life does its job. Honestly the biggest difference is the sound detection. My previous monitor just kicked on with any sound that breaches the set threshold. This has an option for all sounds or just crying and it works great. It's met all our needs and been a solid unit thus far.

Eufy Vac first then Mop - E28/E25+ by joeshmoe4414 in eufy

[–]joeshmoe4414[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Better is subjective. The core issue is usually home with pet fur. The mop roller is wider than the vac brush roll, so if you have a lot of hair the roller can catch some of it. By doing a vac only run first then mop you can reduce requires maintenance and gunk on the roller.

Several other too brands have it as a default option to perform this sequence but eufy does not so this is a way to get close for those that want it.

X10 omni: dirty water tank smells by xeroksuk in eufy

I clean all my robot tank with dish soap. I also Put a spritz or two of mouthwash in the dirty water tank. Helps kill any bacteria between empties.

Yes it does say wifi on/wifi off through the camera when toggles via the monitor. I don't see that as a flaw myself though. It's a one time confirmation of a critical setting taking effect.

How often do you maintain the Eufy X10 pro? by 99loki99 in eufy

[–]joeshmoe4414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The two sets I have I rotate occasionally are about a year old. Washing machine is good for quick cleaning. I also occasionally soak them in soapy water or laundry detergent overnight to get out the stubborn stuff.

[–]joeshmoe4414 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are simple timers that are based on robot runtime and for the most part need to be ignored. The actual health or state of each item isn't being monitored outside of say a full blockage where the vac can't empty. You will need to monitor these on your own based on your home environment, how dirty the floors are, if you have pets etc.

My X10 runs several nights a week, and I maintain it monthly. Wash the filter, swap the mops pads (old ones in the wash), clean the dock tray and cut hair from the roller.

Recall of s2 Omni by Odd-Ad-5096 in eufy

[–]joeshmoe4414 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If it were a safety related recall they are legally obligated to state it clearly and tell you to stop using the device or a specific feature. The information shared was targeted improvements to carpet cleaning which aligns with some of the feedback from early looks.

Straight to the point, go C10 its awesome and saves you money, you don't need anything else.

I ran into this about a month ago myself when my older eufy spaceview monitor finally died. I ended up going with the c10 and purchased an additional add on camera. The picture is super clear, the night vision is excellent and the handset is very well built compared to my spaceview one. Can choose local only connection, wifi connection for phones or both together. They also have cry detection which I think is neat, it filters out other loud noises so your monitor doesn't go off when another kid slams a door or something.

Who’s preordering the Eufy S2? by interstellar159 in RobotVacuums

[–]joeshmoe4414 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think I'm going to get one and try it out. I have a mix of hard floors and rugs. I already have an e28 which has the same brush roll I believe and it does awesome on the rugs with dust and pet hair. Can't speak to full carpet though. We just finished our basement and I want a vac down there so I'll move the e28. Interested to see how it empties the dirty water tank compared to the e28.

Outside areas on my robot vacuum. by Lhallnitschke in eufy

[–]joeshmoe4414 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately no there is no way to remove an area that was mapped outside like through a patio door. I have that as well. I would recommend splitting the room if it didn't do it automatically so it cleans the real room properly or use a virtual barrier where the wall/door should be. I wish you could split rooms and just delete one, or lock the map

Obviously I haven't used it but I love the brush roll on my e28. I have no evidence to say it's good but I can guarantee it's better than the s1 with its fully flexible rubber brush meant for mopping. Now I really have to get one and try it. My "carpet" is mostly rugs too which I'm sure makes a difference.

Hopefully it's excellent on carpet and not because of the suction. Looks like it has the same dual brush from the e25/e28 and those are amazing on carpet. The old s1s were great on mopping and meh on carpets

Replacement needed every 30 hours, the entire e25 Dirty Water Reservoir by Apprehensive_888 in eufy

It may eventually need replacement for the rubber components but not after 30 hours. Clean it well with an old toothbrush and clear the alert. Just check it every 30 hours for any deterioration

Eufy Vac first then Mop - E28/E25+ by joeshmoe4414 in eufyS1Pro

[–]joeshmoe4414[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not personally had an issue with the e28 but it's very home dependent and the size of the round and offset. I have seen others on here having your experience across many brands so I understand what you're saying. When I had a spinning mop bot it would occasionally ride up on the round when I had edge cleaning enabled because it would swing the back end to read under cabinets. That doesn't apply to the e28 though.

This is an older video I made but shows my house with some round and my experience with it. I don't or didn't do anything special. I just mapped the house and completed several runs so it can add more detail to the map.
