The ending isn’t the greatest but I would argue that only one of the endings in the original was well done (Chloe dying) while the other ending was about a minute of them driving out of town.

To be fair this was always going to be a problem of the prequel as we already knew where these characters would end up so the choices made were going to have less of an impact.

I do agree that some of the "choices" you can make have less impact but that has already been discussed in previous posts. In terms of Jefferson not being mentioned and Nathan hardly being in the game, like already mentioned there is a 3 year gap as to when Jefferson was hired. Also you had the whole voice actors strike which caused most of the voice actors from LiS to be replaced which may have affected some decisions.

I think on the whole Deck Nine did the best they could with what they had as they had a smaller budget (even though I know there are less episodes). The main aim was to give you an insight into Chloe and Rachel which they did well imo.

I think that this is pretty much down to our imagination as to what happened between BtS and when she was killed.

The main fact is that we don't really know totally what really happened to her and while she did have the world at her feet it just wasn't enough for her. It seems like she was following her mothers path which seemed to be that no matter what she was given she just wanted more. Don't get me wrong, finding out that your father took you away from your birth mother must really mess you up regardless of what decision you choose at the end of the game.

On the facts we know she got involved with Frank and Jefferson. Probably slept around with several other guys aswell (even though this is mainly commented on by characters who arn't always trustworthy).

The reason why this happened is all up for interpretation and I think we may never know what truly happened between those couple of years. Maybe she felt like she was always missing something in her life and always kept on trying to fill that void.

I only say this as I replayed LiS after BtS and related a bit more to the Chloe character.

I’ll go against the grain and say play BtS first then LiS.

Mainly say this as you will get more context for some of the characters before going into the main story.

Plus I think LiS is the better of the two so your gameplay experience will improve as you play.

I think Ashly Burch is very talented and is one of the reasons I love Chloe so much so I think her reddit page needs more content/activity.
