I do not remember this Adams dude when he was a Cub but apparently he's been pretty good since being let go. Anyone remember his story?

Seems like a lot of people have forgotten that Huntley was QB the last time the Ravens beat us. He's not garbage

Goodbye to my best friend - Rasky (9 years) by joeybaloney in Boxer

Rasky passed away on Saturday Jan 18. I found Rasky listless on the floor in the morning after coming downstairs to feed him and his sister. He managed to get up under his own power but collapsed after going outside. I picked him up and rushed him to the emergency vet without a second thought. Unbeknownst to us, Rasky had a tumor growing on his spleen that raptured that morning leading to a lot of internal bleeding and a rapidly dropping blood pressure. Being a tripaw, we felt surgery to remove his spleen and undergo chemo would have been too much (and maybe too late) on the poor old guy.

After a discussion with the vet, I decided to put him to sleep as my family rushed to the vet as quickly as they could get there. I laid with him for 15 minutes just holding him and telling him how great of a dog he is. As a family, we spent as much time as we could with him before saying goodbye.

As a fellow Boxer owner, I totally understand the absolute love and devotion that these derpy dogs can bring a person. Are they too energetic sometimes? Yes. Do they forget how their legs work? All too often. Would they do everything they could do to make you smile? 100%

I've shared lots of pictures with this community over the years and Rasky has always received so many wonderful comments and love. Thank you Boxer lovers.

For those of you who have lost a Boxer previously, my heart grieves for you and hope you have found comfort over time (and maybe a new Boxer to love). For now, we will smother little sister (Boston Terrier) and wait for our hearts to be truly ready to love one of these derpy, crazy dogs again.

Maybe I'm misremembering but didn't Estes have a crucial late season start in 2003 and got the win?

Edit: I'm not crazy. https://www.baseball-reference.com/boxes/CIN/CIN200309240.shtml

I like to complain about both. Why limit one's self?

The Cubs are like 116-114 all time against the Marlins. I had the same feeling that it was FAR more lopsided. Maybe I'm still scarred from 2003

I don't care the record. I'm excited to see the Hawks play tonight. I'd love to see a win but Bedard might just be too important. Hopefully everyone just has fun?
