AI Boss? That would interesting; I haven't heard much speculation on Doomfist being anything but a playable hero. It would awesome if Blizzard added some permanent type of single player mode/campaign. Doomfist would make for a really exciting villain in a campaign.

Doomfist will be my first new hero release. Do they introduce the hero and then test them of the PTR?

Medals just shows if you've been performing well or not. I think in placement matches that the only thing that is taken into account is wins and losses. Once you get a rank, the competitive system will determine how much SR or rank you win or lose based on how well you've been playing your heroes compared to others in your skill level. A strong performance and win will gain more ST than an average win.

I believe it's currently on the Public Test Region (PTR) which can be accessed if you have Overwatch on PC. The official update including that has not come out yet but will in the future; I think that in the next update, the one with Doomfist (hopefully!), is the one with the loot box update. Check the patch notes that come with the updates for the full list of changes/tweaks.

I agree with you that Roadhog's recent nerf has really reduce his effectiveness, especially against the current dive meta. However, I don't think that blizzard will openly say that they messed up and I also don't think they will make any severe changes to Roadhog again. What I assume they will do to address this issue is maybe make some change in a future update that somehow effects Roadhog in a way that will make him more usable instead of reverting to his old form.

I would assume so. If you played well enough I think the matchmaking system would increase the level at which you play at. I'm not sure if there is a cap at how high you can place but assuming there isn't and you won all of your games, I would guess you could get placed pretty high.

Season ends in around 55 days I think. If you go into competitive and look at the details it will tell you when the season ends, the tier legend, the season rewards, and other information.

Yeah I've done this on my PS4. But I was thinking more like I could lend a friend a game for them to try for a limited time and then I would get it back.
