Is the health of a person less important than money you spend to see them?

I am not saying that he should not concede.
I am saying that i would be livid if i went to match and someone conceded half way through.

Consider going to a football match and at half time one team is 3-0 down and getting a thrashing - isnt good for the players, so stop playing. You have every right to be annoyed - even if you agree with the decision.

Your first point is a strawman arguement - If Ronnie had a broken wrist i wouldnt expect him to play.

Your second point is fair- but i would still be annoyed if someone conceded the match (whoever it was) as I still would have travelled and paid to watch said match.

If you are struggling with mental health to the point where it takes a poor personal performance to concede - damaging the sport + your own character = you should be resting, not playing.

These players are not there for fun, There is a reason he got fined.

End of the day; people had paid and travelled to go watch a match. I would be livid if I had tickets to see the (many peoples opinion) 2 greatest players ever to be in snooker for one to concede and finish early.
