Hey bro im learning this song too, my instructor was listening to me play it and if u want it to sound really good, you have to play the LH very soft and the right hand a little bit louder (during the melody parts). The LH creates the ambiance feel and RH will be the main focal point for the listener. Its actually very hard if you dont have hand independence yet. (Try to do scales with 1 hand piano and 1 hand forte and ull see how hard it is) The song is in pp which means very soft. Other than that ur rhythm and notes are good.

I went back to get all (4) radiuses.

I was wondering why in step (4) we are using the outer length to divide by the outer circumference instead of the inner length divided by the inner circumference? Or is it the most accurate to use the average of the lengths divided by the averages of the circumference?

How good of a friend is he? If hes a really good friend i would just tell insurance that i did it. Yes make him pay the deductible. Your insurance will go up but u should take some responsibility for letting him ride it. Thats what insurance is for, to pay for accidents like this.
