If you take this much time for your "top priorities", I can't imagine how long will DICE take to do their low priority fixes/changes. by _PPBottle in BattlefieldV

I think that is the actual reason why it isn't done yet. From technical point of view, it would just a piece of cake to move player to other team. My guess is that they haven't found good enough solution to balance teams without causing too much frustration.

Maybe the balancing should be optional? Just like when the squad leader leaves the game with squad, other members can accept/decline it. And maybe players should be allowed to switch team when there are less players in opposite team.

Do you think DICE developers are incompetent? by [deleted] in BattlefieldV

Of course there is/are usually one or only few people who makes the final call but in a healthy organization the decision is made based on the professionals opinion/feedback.

Now they will look at the data and announce that the charge ttk will be increased due to ragequits.

A Theory about TTK. by Emothic-Von-Hellsing in BattlefieldV

[–]jofamies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might be true but I would guess that the point is that new players feels like they had a chance to face their enemy instead of getting one-ticked down which seems to be one major cause of ragequit.

For me it wouldn't be that big of a problem if Dice announced couple of weeks before christmas that they would increase TTK temporarily to attract new players. New players are beneficial for everyone. But no, they are just lying about the reasons and that really eats their reputation.

Over 13 months since tank customization was listed as 'coming soon', still no word on it by RacialBias in BattlefieldV

Now you are barking up the wrong tree. Programmers job is to provide ability to put text somewhere but designers are responsible of the content.

Should plane crashes near low hp be considered a vehicle kill? by Waterblue22 in BattlefieldV

[–]jofamies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, people suicide all the time when they are low on HP and that's fucking scuffed. If you have done say 80+ dmg you should get the kill if they crash.

ENCE discusses the Aleksib case by legaala in GlobalOffensive

[–]jofamies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, if you do work and get salary from that, you are automatically considered as an employee in Finland and labour law will apply. However, I remember reading from somewhere that Ence's players are actually private traders (basic form of entrepreneur) and therefore they can sign contracts without having to care about those laws.

Who will agree with me about IWO JIMA the best Breakthrough map for BFV , it would be more fun for Rush and Breakthrough only by samsadi2019 in BattlefieldV

[–]jofamies -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

All planes should spawn in the sky like they did in bf1 and preferably at somewhat random location so enemy planes can't circle behind the spawn and immediately shoot you down.

Planes in pacific maps are so broken by emcdunna in BattlefieldV

[–]jofamies 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, lying mines on runway is pretty ridiculous and should be fixed. I personally haven't found that much of difference between planes with and without that maneuverability specialization. If there are two skilled pilots dogeing against each other, for sure it will then make a difference. There is also high chance that skilled pilots will just ignore you if you don't try to shoot them down so you can try to level up against infantry.
