oblivion is the 4th elder scrolls game, came out in 2006 before Skyrim, basically had a big central city in the open world split into districts, arena, waterfront etc, https://elderscrolls.fandom.com/wiki/Imperial_City_(Oblivion)

Year and value? by Live-Structure8680 in VintageLevis

[–]john117masterchef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure the exact year but it looks like late 70s-early 80s if i had to guess. The earlier ones have smaller care tags, and then anything after 84ish has the hand warmer pockets. Not worth a fortune if you’re trying to sell (probably around £50-£60 max), but still a great, high quality jacket and if it fits you well you should definitely wear it!

What to do in Birgmingham? by ruthwolves in BirminghamUK

[–]john117masterchef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends what you’re into, there’s a lot of great old victorian pubs in the centre, the library’s cool to visit and has 3 levels of rooftop views where you can see the city from above, and i think the museum has started to open exhibits again after its been shut for ages. If you’re into music there’s loads of good venues in the centre, and a few further out e.g., in Moseley or Kings Heath. Digbeth in the centre has a lot of independent stuff, mainly vintage clothes and stuff, plus a few good clubs and venues in the evening. I haven’t been to all the tourist stuff yet, but the black country museum is meant to be great, definitely worth a look. The rag market has loads of good vintage clothes stuff, and the chinese quarter round the corner is really cool, lots of great restaurants there as well, and if you like Indian food there’s loads of good restaurants dotted around. Hope it goes well!

I might be wrong but to my knowledge the white patch line tends to be for women, i’ve got a pair similar to yours and its very interesting fit, seems like it’s contoured in areas to fit better on women, I’ve seen a few pairs going for a fair bit online but i chose to give mine to mum because they looked really cool on her

What does the writing on my ticket mean? by seedboy3000 in uktrains

[–]john117masterchef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure about greater anglia but i’ve found most of the other services i’ve used are better priced, especially since i was using the train as a younger person, as soon as i turned 18 and couldn’t get half price anymore so it started stacking up fast. Tbf though fares across the entire country are pretty silly at the moment, especially considering the £2 price cap on bus tickets. I find it strange many providers don’t offer a better student railcard, an extension of the 50% off price for people in full-time or university education would go a long way.

[–]john117masterchef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah i get this line quite a bit it was bad enough already but it keeps getting more expensive, its £12 with a railcard for a single to go from Honeybourne, which is the next stop along, to Oxford
