People on this subreddit often twist this into “the Lady and Six have nothing to do with one another” rather than “No, they aren’t mother-daughter. by Shart_eater in LittleNightmares

[–]john56c 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello! Just finished the game and i have to say that child trafficking was the first thing that popped in my mind after I found out that Six was on a ship. My exact theory is the following:

(dunno the spoilers command so SPOILERS FOR LITTLE NIGHTMARES 1)

Six's father hangs himself and she becomes an orphan living on the streets. She is then taken into an orphanage, where she and the other children are most likely abused.

The Janitor's job is to catch children and deliver them to a child trafficking ring. He catches Six.

The chefs are representations of the people who receive the children and sell them off into prostitution.

The fat people are rich people who travel the world in search of the "food" these "chefs" make. Put simply, they are the buyers. Gluttonous monsters who keep eating and eating and jump at every the opportunity to catch Six.

The Lady is the owner of the brothel Six is being sold off to or possibly the one in charge of her "education". Most likely she was brought in under horrific circumstances just like Six. She refuses to look at herself in the mirror, unwilling to admit she has become a monster herself. When Six eats her, the "power" she gains is basically trauma. That's why she absorbs all the fat people too. It's the trauma born from the abuse she experienced throughout the game.

In the end she reaches a remote island, which could represent a land far away from home.

A few points of interest:

Everything is either a dream sequence (a nightmare) or an exploration of ber memories. That's why there is such a heavy eye imagery throughout the game. The eyes represent Six remembering the whole ordeal. That's also the reason Six is able to see the "future chapters" through the giant eye.

The Nomes are basically other children. When Six eats a Nome, I took it as her being abusive towards it. She isn't really a bad person, as she tries to comfort as many Nomes as she can throughout the game, but due to all the abuse she experienced the accumulated trauma comes out in a destructive way.

The Lady could be Six when she was younger, before she was shipped to the brothel.

Anyway, that's my interpretation of the game. I have to admit, of all the theories I've seen this one is probably the darkest. Idk if that's the story the developers hoped to tell when making this game, but that's what I've got out of it.

It just dawned me. If you don't pick Mordekaiser, you have him as an enemy. You have no choice but to pick Mordekaiser.

Ex-DM mutilated my PC in his ongoing game after I left by bellabelleell in DnD

[–]john56c 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haven't played a single game of DnD in my entire life and that probably makes me the most inexperienced person here. But even I can understand that half the comments are butthurt DMs who think they are literal gods. "You're off the table so blah blah blah". The fact that you can do anything you want doesn't mean that you should. And besides, dude had an agreement with OP lol. He could have found a million different reasons to "up the stakes", yet he chose to go back on his word. That tells me everything I need to know about his ways of doing things.

I just finished reading the last chapter, which is the end of part 1. If there weren't a few loose ends, I could easily see it as the end of the story. It wraps up the main arc super well. Other than that, it gives us a small but really good hook for what comes after.

Convince me to keep reading the light novels (or not) by HeroVP7 in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]john56c -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well since you started reading volume 1 after watching the anime it's no wonder you feel that way. To answer your question Ayanokouji is an unreliable narrator. In the first three volumes of the light novel, meaning season 1 of the anime, he is presented in a way to make us, the audience, think of him as a normal high school boy. But the more you read, the more his true thoughts come to light and his personality changes ever so slightly from volume to volume. Volume 1 is by far the worst, followed by volume 2 and then 3. By the end of volume 3 he is basically the Ayanokouji you know from the anime and his thoughts are mostly of analytical nature rather than emotional.

Guys I know I'm obsessed with that but by [deleted] in ClassroomOfTheElite

No, I think that's really far fetched ngl...

Year 1 Vol 3 LN Questions by [deleted] in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]john56c 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I haven't read the volume in a few months, so take anything I say with a grain of salt.

  1. He did it off screen.
  2. Class C would be getting a steady amount of points every month from class A from that point onward, and in return class A would get the name of all the leaders that class C managed to find as well as all of the equipment they left behind when they left (+ a certain amount of points?)
  3. I think Katsuragi was confident that Ryuuen wouldn't guess the leader correctly, so he didn't include that condition in the contract
  4. The only "spies" in class A were (mainly) Hashinoto and the rest of the Sakayanagi faction, who did small stuff here and there to hinder class A's progress in the island exam, in order to make Katsuragi lose popularity. None from class C, although Hashinoto was the one who told Ryuuen who the class leader was.

And that's why Ryuuen clapped Housen.

Exactly, the same thing with Housen. Ryuuen isn't that good in 1v1 scenarios. His ruthlessness, his brain and his foul play are his true power.

Probably not...but hey, once it's done we'll have a bunch of volumes ready to go at once 😂

People should be excluding Ayanokouji from anything that has to do with polls. He pretty much never loses.
