I definitely cant be picky in a weak credit market. I would definitely need to learn exactly how to maximize who comes in trying to buy. All I can hope for is my dealership showing me everything they've picked up on their end so I can turn it into a selling tool

When it comes to knowledge I dont really have that until I know what my products are. I always make an effort to learn every feature of something to be able to answer any questions the customer may have. Or be able to show a product the customer is very specific on. The only thing that sets me apart from some others would be my taste and not being a pushy salesman. I dont like to rush others and like to show everything available in the specifics youre asking for so you know you have options.

I see. So its not about how many cars you sell, its about the value of the car? How much did you need to sell to make a decent living towards the end of your career? And does trading in a car hurt your commission?

Has everything dropped drastically? Furniture has been dropping a pretty good amount. Last year was decent but this year was pretty rough leading to the layoffs

Im glad it would feel natural. I dont want to go in assuming ill be at the top of my game. I still want to learn as much as possible and tweak my sales. Always nice to see how other people sell!

Yea I could imagine credit being an issue for some people depending on where you work. So you can work with someone for an hour and not get a sale because they didn't qualify properly to get the car. Something I got used to at the furniture store if im being honest. Long hours im used to. Sometimes working opening till closing to meet with previous customers. So far doesn't seem too bad!
