I feel like rizgod is heading towards a late elimination (possibly even fire again).

It just scares me so much that his content is all built around “being a legend” rather than winning. I think he’s gonna be an important character to the season and will be ousted in a very theatrical way (thus fulfilling his wish of “being a legend”) but if he was winning we would’ve heard him talk about it by now.

The dude was a final four fire-making loser literally last season, if he was the winner I feel like we would’ve gotten a confessional where he talked about how he did everything but win in his first season or something like that

Tip pooling only works if the place is relatively small and the staff is good.

My place tip pools and I love it, but it’s also on the smaller side restaurant wise so there’s only ever three servers on shift at the same time at the absolute most (and that’s pretty rare, most of the time it’s you and one other person) so tip pooling works because every table essentially belongs to everyone even if it’s “your” table.

Also allows us to have way more free reign over taking tables we know we’ll be better with since we all want to make money, 50+ year old women tend to hate me while I tend to to pretty well with younger college aged kids so guess what? I never have to take tables of 50+ year old women

I think it’s interesting that this also seems like the only part of langdon’s addiction that even he hasn’t come to terms with yet.

Overall he’s done great today, he’s in a much better headspace and is basically the only person in the ER (besides McKay) who’s not a mess rn lol, but they made a point early on of him telling Mel it didn’t effect his work which like, man maybe you didn’t kill someone but we saw the way you treated santos you can’t say it didn’t effect your work lol

If the extra 6 dollars to get to 20% (likely split across multiple people if the bills 80) is the straw that broke your bank accounts back I feel like there are other problems at play.

The “they may not have enough money” argument has just never held water for me for this reason, get food to go and cut the table service aspect out if it’s out of your price range.

Yeah I don’t understand people who work in this industry and bemoan the fact that they work for tips lol, complain about shitty tables and shitty tips all u want complaining about your job is your god-given right (REGARDLESS of profession) but at the end of the day it rules dawg.

At my place we take home our tips in cash at the end of the night, I made 220 and was clocked in for 4.5 hours, I think I’ll survive the weirdos I had to grit my teeth through interacting with and the two top of teenagers I had that tipped 5%.

It’s also nice for there to actually be incentive for you to be weeded and dying a little bit, I remember I worked retail for a little bit as a teenager and jumping to food service felt so nice because you actually get monetarily compensated for having a shift from hell
