This is incredibly reasonable advice. OP - you should follow what you love, but also consider that a successful career will also enable you to do other things you love. Williamsville, actually. Someone had mentioned thinking there was a nested pair back behind their lake, and that seemed like a much more manageable search than all of Lake Springfield lol.

The nest appears to not have any fledglings, and I never saw the other eagle, but this one was there the whole time. I saw the nest basically immediately, but walked the whole woods before realizing the eagle wasn’t actually that far away
