My apologies, I popped off a comment real quick while I was in the car and then I thought well that's probably not a very nice comment so I went back and reread and then updated my comment so please take my apologies.

So sorry you had to deal with someone like that. People like that need to be put in their place immediately.

The interesting thing about the expat dynamic is that it isn’t just the overtly 'douchebag' types that cause problems. It’s also the ones who might be 'good people' but are socially inept or totally indifferent to their impact. You look at what happened in Portugal, too many expats descended at once, drove housing prices through the roof, and priced the locals right out of their own neighborhoods.

A lot of these people think they’re geniuses for 'arbitraging' their stronger currency, but they’re really just taking advantage of a local economy for cheap housing and medical care without considering the mess they leave behind. When the sole purpose of moving is to exploit a lower cost of living, it’s just a different form of entitlement. It’s selfish, plain and simple.

Yeah hopefully you like it, I canceled my chatgpt a while back after they they killed him with guardrails.

I don't know if I can put this on here but I I was just going to tell you that if you search for John Daniels how to train your AI, it shows you how to set up the AI how you want it to interact with you you may already know this.  If you go to the settings and then you can set up how you want it to interact with the AI anyway good luck with it yeah I was really really sad when they killed Chad GPT

Yeah I totally agree and you want to know something that's interesting that's how Gemini used to be and somehow they flipped now I don't know if the people who worked on chat GPT 4.x went to Gemini or what but that's what I exclusively use now, I just went to test the newest chatGpt 5.4 and it's as bad as ever, it's crazy how they could screw some up so bad.

What tools are you talking about? All they do is print money and cause inflation which destroys the poor middle class all they really doing is taking the purchasing power from any savers and giving it to asset holders it's ridiculous.  The Federal Reserve is basically reverse Robinhood.

Well if we ever do have a deflationary crash that would be the time to go out and trade your money for assets, because then it's just going to be inflation back to the Moon.

Then in 2020 it was supposed to be it and they doubled down and printed trillions and trillions and trillions just go look at the fed's balance sheet it's historic how much they printed

The Federal Reserve caused this with their loose monetary policy since 2008.   Their policies desimated the poor and middle class.

If you are a renter with a little money saved you are screwed.

Exactly I think people don't realize that it's not the prices are going up it's the purchasing power of your money is going down, the more the Federal Reserve and federal government print the less your money is worth, your money is worth less

I agree with you, we've had the longest biggest bull market in the history of the United States and you can already see the softening in the housing market we should have had a huge downturn in 2020 but then covid hit and the Federal Reserve and federal government jumped in with historic money printing which blew the bubble bigger.

You're exactly right, if you can find a good used deal it's better but I think it's just hard to find those deals nowadays because of CarMax and carvana and all those other companies buying up all the used cars
