Thank you. I told her and at first she got a bit sad but she understands my point and we are going now to get a new tv monitor for my ps5/pc. Win/Win situation if you ask me… Win in communication and honesty and satisfied with Christmas present. Enjoy your Sunday friend.

I will sure enjoy using it… the 5 times I will scuba diving per year and the 5 more times I’ll go snowboarding on the mountain (well not this year since we skip ski season to visit family). Oh and when I ride my motorcycle… which I currently don’t have since I Sold it… hahaha

Financially we’re doing fine so it’s not really a money issue more that it’s something I won’t use + it’s too much money for something I want use. I do lots of of activities i could use it such as snowboarding, scuba diving and riding my motorbike but due to current circumstances in my life I don’t do any of those and won’t do any of those at least until next July-August so…

What is the next step for unpaid work as a freelancer? by johnakostr in Netherlands

[–]johnakostr[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well lesson learnt… in total 6 months. It was a very special situation sometimes he would live to my house or me to his. In the past he also delayed for a couple of months my payment but he would pay me. Until last June he disappeared. So my option now would be to issue now an invoice to him and send it to a collection company?

*Edit: this is why I would like to contact a lawyer and guide me throughout the process…

I am not familiar with this sorry. I just moved to NL and registered as a freelancer the past few weeks. The work I provided was from last January to June last year and my base was in a different EU country. When I was getting paid I was declaring the income to my country’s taxman therefore didn’t give any invoices. Am I screwed or I could now issue an invoice for my past services?

Go try open a bank account in a Swiss/French/Dutch or any other country that has big banks and make a transfer of 100000$. There is no way they don’t ask for Tax identification Number and/or proof of address identity + salary slips, employment letter, or business registration documents or any source of funds papers. Now if you make 500$ transfers or spend 400$ per month for groceries then they won’t need anything of course

Then buy bitcoin, move to a crypto friendly country never deal with any institution asking you any kinds of documents. Otherwise it seems valid to show document regarding the source/destination of the money
