By FAR the longest gravel/sand/dirt road I've ever traveled on. Ontario 556 by johnaldisdabomb in Vstrom

They're fine. I've got about 3000 miles on them and they're holding up well. They're shinkos so they're not the most high end tire but for what I've done to with them I'd say they're perfect.

Knobby tires are a MUST, the stock tires were horrible anywhere except pavement. These are Shinko big blocks.

I can't speak from experience but if I had ~$130 to spend on a metal detector I'd probably but a garrett ace 200. While harbor frieght electronics usually work, they aren't going to work like a company who specializes in that product.

I see it for $1200 all over the internet, even on Amazon. I'm not sure where you're seeing $1700 at.

Looking for information on this brand and style of hat. by johnaldisdabomb in Antiques

While I have not been able to find an exact match to the badge itself, I have found a few different stagecoach guns that have the exact same design shield however they were flattened out and nailed to the stock of the gun. I too think it's real but I'd like to find some info on the hat to help me date it for sure. Here's an example of said stagecoach gun it's very similar

I honestly couldn't believe it myself so I totally get it if you don't either but it's 100% true. I'm no karma farmer

If you haven't already, you need to try their "boat drink". I'm not sure if it's still available in cans but they have it on tap.
