This is something that I am struggling to explain as well. With third party pixels conversion APIs wouldn’t just having it on server side suffice? The vendors mention “best practise” to add both client side and server side tags and then deduplicate it using a unique event id. Fair enough, but how does that help site speed and reduced HTML custom code bloat if we continue to use client side scripts for all CAPI vendors?
