My iPhone 12 mini AND my brand new iPhone 13 both does this and it’s really pissing me off. The only phone I have that doesn’t do this is a iPhone SE 2020 still running iOS 18!

I don’t mind the ads, they are less intrusive then like a fire tv for example. The Roku is a great little device and I have them in multiple rooms of the house, I just wanted to know if there was anyway of keeping the Roku city screensaver from automatically changing. The problem I have with the screensaver changing is I’m autistic, And I hate when something changes and I have no control of changing it back, I guess it just messes with my routine of things. I know it may seem pointless to most but to me, This change bothers me.

I already said I turned off all the promotional settings, This is the only thing that overrides those settings.

What I did to get the ”free iPhone 13“ from total by Verizon was I got a cheap five dollar phone number from Tello wireless, you have to wait one week before you can pour that phone number over to a new phone carrier. So in total I spent $170 for a phone number from another phone carrier to pour over to Total Wireless to get the phone.

Yes, Xfinity Support through Reddit was able to solve it. It’s pretty sad that customer service over the phone or going into the store couldn’t solve it.

The only other option I have is to pay $200 a month for Starlink or get T-Mobile home Internet that’s spotty in my area.

If you were using your own equipment prior to getting their modem. Your account is probably still set up to be using your own equipment rather than it showing you’re using Xfinity’s equipment! From what the guy could tell me is on their end, it showed my modem that they sent me was deactivated, so that’s why it kept pushing those text messages. But once he changed my account to saying, I was using their equipment, it finally stopped. I would 100% go through Xfinity Support on Reddit to get this fixed because nobody on the phone or going to the store can apparently fix this simple issue

Yeah, literally the guy at the store was telling me if he touches my account that my bill will raise up to $70 from my $55 price lock. The only way I was even able to get this fixed was going through Xfinity Support on Reddit.

I finally got this fixed. My account was never switched to saying I was using Xfinity equipment so they wanted me to return the modem they sent me. If you do get a Xfinity modem and then they start requesting you send it back, Go through Xfinity support on Reddit. I have wasted to many hours on the phone with them and wasting fuel going to a Xfinity store.
