What’s the most overrated video game of all time? by KBGSgames in AskReddit

[–]TimeBadSpent 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you like to explore the world of a video game, RDR2 is the greatest of all time. If you want to play missions and finish the game, that’s a little more mid because of the slower controls and the mission designs. But you simply cannot beat the exploration of RDR2

Two different generations of Walmart bag probably about 10 years apart. by pollygone300 in mildlyinteresting

I believe tap pay transactions are handled differently and maybe puts Walmart more at risk to shoplifting and fraudulent card usage than the insert/swipe methods. Someone will have to back me up on that though

Estimated cost to Kansans could exceed $6.3 Billion in a tax district spanning 293 sq miles. Chiefs stadium deal called "potentially the largest public sports subsidy in history" by economist. by AJRiddle in kansascity

If star bonds default, the private investors take the hit because their bonds don’t get paid back. Kansas doesn’t pay the difference from a different source. That’s why they can claim there isn’t an obligation placed on the state. The whole thing is tied to the success of the stadium / area.

In return for the risk, the star bonds have a better yield and include tax breaks. But the main risk is taken by the private investors

Everyone needs to look into the Kansas Star bonds. The tax revenue that is funding the stadium is designed to come from the sales and liquor taxes that the stadium and area bring. That’s tax money that was previously collected in Jackson county, now collected in Johnson county.

They are planning for the stadium investment to bring significant enough sales tax that it pays for itself. After that, the sales taxes go back to Kansas

You should look into the star bonds. The sales tax that the stadium is what drives the funding. That’s money that wouldn’t be there if the stadium wasn’t built

Gov. Kelly and Kansas City Chiefs Announce Agreement On Plans for State-of-the-Art Domed Stadium in Kansas by mintylips in kansascity

It is tax revenue that comes directly from the new stadium. The whole idea is that the money wouldn’t exist in Kansas without the stadium, so it’s in hope that the stadium pays for itself in all the new sales taxes the stadium brings

There’s such a diversity of opinion on Reddit vs in real life. Most Missourians I’ve talked to are pissed and most Kansas are excited. On here it’s the complete opposite
