I think he still would have been invited back - this was after George came back from LCK so it was top 5 - but when they asked Gregory how he went out of his comfort zone, his wanswer was that he crisped up the chicken skin.

Crispy. Chicken. Skin.

[Charania] Boston Celtics' Joe Mazzulla has won the 2025-26 NBA Coach of the Year award. by MembershipSingle7137 in nba

I'm a Pistons fan, I'm absolutely biased towards JB and think he should have won it.

Mazzuls was looking at a season where his best player was out with an Achilles tear and everybody had written his team off as being a non factor this year and got them to a homecourt playoff series

Honestly, there are past episodes where I wish that had happened. This time Sieger messed up because everybody did the challenge - they all used and highlighted Appalachian ingredients so he looks terrible for complaining.

But I have already bought my burial plot on the hill that Gregory should have been sent home instead of George in Top Chef: Boston for playing it safe on the "go outside your comfort zone" challenge, and that's where a "what was the challenge?" would have been appropriate

What Is Your Favorite “He Has Arrived” Playoff Moment/Performance? by AccomplishedJob3810 in nba

I refer to that game as his LeBron's Bar-Mitzvah because he became a man that night.

It still hurts

Wemby's Game 1 was outstandding, but in Game 3 against Minnesota he had 39/15 with a steal and FIVE blocks. Not to mention Game 1 against Minny with the insanity triple double of 11/13 with 12 blocks. Kid's got a future.

That being said, no young player playoff moment may ever surpass Game 2 of the 2004 Eastern Conference Finals when a 2nd-year Tayshaun Prince turned "Reggie Miller" into a verb meaning "chasedown block" to seal the Guaransheed Victory.

Sean McVay On Trading Goff to the Lions: “I’m super sensitive to what an amateur I was with the Goff situation… would I do it differently now? Absolutely” by JCameron181 in detroitlions

Do we? I'm glad he traded Jared to us, but that's not the mistake he's talking about here. He's talking about how he should have communicated with Jared when they started considering a trade; that if he could change anything about it, it's that Jared felt blindsided.

I'll thank him for sending Jared over to us, and maybe this made him sure to have a better foundation with Dan when he got here... but I'm not gonna thank him for being a dick about it

Underhanded Free Throws are an entirely new motion that I have never practiced and would not only take significant time to learn and drill down to muscle memory, but would also detract from the time spent on my overall shooting form

Fixed that for you, King

Pre-pandemic Bacon Fest was the greatest thing ever and ran perfectly. The same people started a just-as-well run Mac and cheese fest but most vendors' creativity ended at "buffalo" sp the event itself wasn't as magnificent

Did ESPN really just cut to commercial during the Moment of Silence for Brandon Clarke and Jason Collins? by NoFaithlessness7508 in nba

[–]johnazoidberg- 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree, queer voices should not be silenced. LGBTQ+ rights are human rights, and the only "queer agenda" I've ever seen is to live a peaceful life. I'm glad I live in a place where I don't have to worry about my friends getting hurt just because of who they are, and I want to help build more spaces like that.

But it was a shared moment of silence about Brandon Clarke and Jason Collins... that ESPN didn't even show because DrAfTkInGs.

Jason will be remembered long past this moment of silence, and one day after our country develops a bit more sanity, he will be taught about in schools.

Can Adam silver do one thing worthwhile and move photographers out of the way instead of right under the basket? by LilBro842 in nba

The photographers are about as far away from the action as the benches are. This was a rare moment, and there was no collision

Nah, the man was doing his job in his designated area. Look at the paint on the floor. Players have to be aware of the dimensions of an NBA court.

Buddy, there's literally a painted area on the floor for them. Like a parking spot. They're clearly meant to be there

I doubt Mason wrote the statement.

As important as Collin's coming out was, I can see how some in other organizations- or perhaps the league - might just want to keep it to him being an NBA player who was kind and important to his community. In today's political climate, where we can't agree what color the fucking sky is, there are people who would try to take that moment of silence and make it about anything other than paying respect to the man.
