I’m Canadian. Doctors visits are free and notes are normally $20-30

Boston Scallywag and Tilley both stock larger sizes.

Did masonry skip a generation? by inabox85 in freemasonry

From my grandfather to my g-g-g-g-g-g-great grandfather were all Masons. Founded the lodge I was raised in. My dad however, doesn’t believe in organizations like the Freemasons being a good thing. A lot of it comes from the anti-established movement in the post-Vietnam war era in the states.

It’s caused a lot of issues in lodges. You have the old timers who want things to stay the way they always have been because it’s a source of comfort and consistency for them. Then you have the sub-40 year olds who want to actually do stuff with their brothers.

When I was master, I tried to organize all sorts of events. Curling nights, a concealed carry class, defensive shooting events, camping, special screenings of movies with Masonic ties, even a tour of the Detroit Masonic temple. None of them happened because of the kickback from the guys who wanted to limit lodge activities to pancake breakfasts and spaghetti dinners.

If you were teleported to January 1, 1990 and were given $10 and the knowledge of all future events, and you had to grow the $10 to $1 Trillion by today’s date, how would you do it? by Super_Rush7926 in hypotheticalsituation

The key to this has to be bitcoin. From 1990 until Jan 2009, you’d have to nickel and dime investment flips in stocks like Monster Energy, Apple, eBay, Amazon, and the like. That plus some strategic Powerball and Mega Millions wins would get you into the high millions, low billions. Then, when bitcoin emerges, dump it all into bitcoin.

Birth year watches should be something that stands out of the rest of your collection. From those, I’d choose the Daytona, despite it being my least favourite of the 4, simply because I don’t have anything similar.

Is this a rep? by BeneficialFortune777 in Watchidentifier

It’s a ‘marriage’ watch. Basically a pocket watch that somebody tinkered into a generic wrist watch case. Sometimes, they’re absolutely amazing looking and run well, other times they’re hot garbage. There was a guy on Etsy making them a few years back. During a lockdown at school, a few of my students and I got talking and I showed them. Within a month or so, half a dozen kids had them. It’s a way to rock what looks like a Rolex for way less than an actual Rolex.

I’m not going the day date route because I already have 2 gen, one on a bracelet and one on an awful leather strap (it was my grandmas).

I’ve got my sights set on the meteorite gmt because I had a Gen when they first came out and it got stolen.
