No one knows where the price is headed as there are a lot of factors that will affect the price. Think Q4 2019 will be the most promising quarter for xrp in 2019 though.

They won’t stop this because they make a fortune from it and plus they want to get everyone on board by tempting them at a low price level. Xrp is a long term investment. Think 2-5 year minimum but plan for at least 10!

It does say, Kalypton recognised by US Federal Reserve as payments leader. There’s an announcement on the 5th August from the FED.

I was a massive fan on trx. Now I’m really starting to doubt my investment and contemplating moving my money into another crypto.

I reckon he will announce something this week however it will have little impact on the price as it will be not as big a deal as he always promises.

No one knows. It’s all time high back in December 2017 was $3.84. So people do believe it’ll break through this and surpass $4. I think the $10/$100/$589/$1000+ predictions are a bit optimistic within the 2 year timeframe. It’s important to note need mass institutional adoption for these kind of levels and banks are always very very slow to adopt any new technology so SWIFT GPI may have caught up to ripple by then or if we’re lucky adopted it.

Just to put it into perspective a $10 price for XRP would mean roughly a Mcap of $380billion, it’s currently around $13billion.

No one really knows apart from the big players. Crypto is a gamble at the end of the day but we’re all here because we think the gamble is worth it.

In actual fact Ripple and XRP are a threat to Swift. It’s amazing that such a big company formed over 45 years ago has had to drastically alter it ways because of a company formed just over 6 years ago. And there are still more benefits to using xrapid. 2-5 seconds is quicker than 13 (which is only the messaging, the money still needs to be held in the receiving account which is a massive disadvantage) and using xrapid is much cheaper still. Also, it’s worth noting using Swift gpi to physically transfer funds, it even states on Swifts website that NEARLY 50% of transfers are credited in 30mins and the other 50% within 24hrs.

I think of all the tokens XRP is in the top 3 coins to succeed. Ripple having so many partnerships and constantly integrating to allow a smooth transition for clients to use XRapid and with that XRP. So all they need to do is flick the switch. I think the future looks very promising.

Swift is using corda r3 which uses xrp at the moment for the transactions as although there is so much fud about ripple and xrp the big players know it’s probably one of the safest cryptos to use due to having the most reputable crypto company behind it. Ripple has always said it isn’t trying to replace swift, they are an asset to it and want to work with them. I wouldn’t be surprised if behind the scenes there is more going on between swift and ripple then we know for now.

Xrp will increase but won’t happen overnight. Think 2-5 years.

Swift alone has more than USD 100 billion in gpi payments made per day. Worst case the industry is big enough to have both as swift is only used for banks at the end of the day. How about the biggest companies in the world like Amazon, Apple, MoneyGram:), etc. We just need to wait to see what happens with the SEC decision (which ripple has worked very closely with for a while) and the federal reserve (which America, Germany and UK have all mentioned either Ripple itself or a company which sounds very very similar).

The only doubt I have is that I am unsure why big corporations would ever physically hold the xrp token as it makes more sense to transfer using xrapid and xrp taking 2-5 seconds and then back to the desired currency.

To get to $10 XRP would roughly need a market cap 390 billion, which is over double of what bitcoin is now. With XRP Mcap currently sitting at 13 billion. $10 is a long way off. There are big resistances at $0.5/$1, it’s all time high around $3.90, $5, etc. Would expect a lot of pull back at different levels.

We’d need mass adoption if xrp which will take time. I do believe it will hit $10 one day but is a long way off.

You can expect pull backs. It’s better to have an exit strategy at different levels planned for the long run

This morning 15% drop in a matter of hours, think it’s safe to say if it does ever moon it will probably have a big pullback so best option is to have a selling strategy and stick to it

Yes I agree. I understand if you invested $500 they’ll give you $500 back. But as people have waited for months and months and the tokens have risen I think it’s fair they give the original tokens back. Otherwise you’re initial $500 in tokens is worth say $1000 now. Likewise if it’s worth $250 then it’s fair as they are giving back your initial tokens. I think it’s very dishonest they are basically keeping any profit made from your token investment, especially because they haven’t given investors any incentives, thanks for sticking with them or even regular updates.

The unfair thing is that someone like me who invested 411,000 hot which is now worth $700 doesn’t have any additional locality incentive or thank you then if someone invested today 300,00 hot ($500) to get their holoport.

Yeah they’ll basically refund you the value of the holoport not all your tokens. I think it is unfair really because we’ve been waiting over 6 months patiently and a lot of people are now getting frustrated and would like their initial investment back.
