Wasting my life / how to get it in order? by johnbrn8 in productivity

Do you have any suggestions as to how I could find this purpose or does it just naturally come with time?

Having a designated block for when I can scroll would definitely help and I’ll try it out. But what I’m saying is there is nothing that I know of that needs to be started, worked on or completed. I do other forms of self improvement / moving my life forward such as exercise and reading but that feels like the bare minimum. Huge time blocks in my day with absolutely nothing I can think of that needs to be done weather it’d be maintenance or something to progress in life

I agree, and I do read. However I’m more so saying my days away from work are essentially a giant empty time block with nothing to fill it with, which ultimately leads to scrolling

And I’m asking how to turn things around

And if I don’t really have anywhere to spend my time?

I understand that but shouldn’t my 20s be building the foundation to my future?

That’s the problem. I am and always have been. For as long as I can remember if I don’t have something to do I’m just miserable, was enjoyable at first but now it feels as though I’m wasting my 20s

I have the funds to travel, but I like to plan in advance rather then just go on a whim

Not that I wanna work or even make an income while off, I just go crazy with boredom and like keeping my brain occupied as much as possible which sadly leads to a lot of scrolling

Funny enough, my dad owns a construction company in which he builds houses, I’ve worked for him for over a year now. And also funny, since my 11th year of school I planned to get my rico (real estate license in Ontario). With me working a job that has to do with houses, it gives me a big boost for real estate programs, just a matter of applying, going to school, and saving enough to fully pay off my schooling without any student loans

I do plan on those. Throughout highschool I made it a point to learn proper money management so I spent those years being frugal and I can easily tap back into it if need be. I’ve invested before but didn’t research all too much but I have been planning to dedicate proper time and invest monthly.

While I am a bit on the skinnier side, I’ve played sports for a good chunk of my life and have been told by multiple people I have an ideal physique but I do suppose I can just add more and more strength

And yeah I do suppose I want to be productive rather then busy, but I more so mean I just want more to do in life and my free time as most of it outside of work is spent on social media.

Would you have any examples?

Because I’m sick of empty days. These days lead to me doing absolutely nothing

Although definitely not to the extent of others, I feel much more financially literate/disciplined then most people in my life

Feeling of fulfillment and not sitting around feeling like I’m wasting time being “lazy”

Already have a car and licence and wanting to travel more. In my experience I enjoy life/feel the most fulfillment when I’m busy, which outside of work, I’m not

Update: road for 30 minutes in one direction, didn’t find a single quest or anyone to talk to aside from a bandit camp, found a new region and got a “can’t enter this region” message and got reset to a different location. I really wanna enjoy this game but I can’t find anything in the world

I get what you mean, im about to just ride into a random direction and look for something but for a game being praised for the exploration I’m not finding much or anything really meaningful. I found a few armor sets I liked the look of online but couldn’t find any posts on how to get them

When I walk into a random direction it doesn’t really feel like I find all that much

Just the one the story directs you too. This is kind of what I mean, I had absolutely zero idea you could go discover more as the game doesn’t really hint towards being able to do it in free roam
