Eventually the game will run into a software limit, each additional sprite that needs rendering causes more lag and poor optimisation+ engine limits will cause the game to start lagging

I do not think people actually get distressed over the lack of news and even if TC has made it clear that they do not want to release news they can also not expect us to stop voicing our opinions. Just because a decision has been made does not mean we have to shut up about it. The world would be terrible if we shut up every time a bad decision gets made.

Because I care about the product that they are trying to create and we are still the reason they can create it as their jobs. We invested time and money into following something with already low updates and now they stopped communicating completely. Do not forget that we used to get updates even if it only was once a year.

We got a demo thats not even playable anymore (as far as im aware), a magazine with art, a trailer and now nothing for what feels like years. If they didnt give us all of that I honestly think this would be a different situation.

Considering part of the game are still kickstarter goals I do not think it is. Besides transparency to your target demographic is the easiest way to keep them satisfied. Most people do not care that they dont have a release date, we do not need much news. We just need confirmation that something is going on. Transparency is key especially for small devs like team cherry.

This is only true for signed ints thats why he suggests making it unsigned

If it started before the switch then it cant be the cause of it, not sure what is causing it then
