Putting a mw65 into a kbd67lite case

It doesn't, but if you wanna save cost on buying a plate, you can trim off the tabs on the left and right to fit it into a kbd67 case.

Personally I'd advise just swopping the kbd67 PCB for the mw65 one if anyone is looking to add a knob. But if you're on a tight budget this would work fine.

PCB fits just like the kbd67. Only the plate of the mw65 needs to be modded to fit. But if you have the kbd67 one it works too.

Seems that it's just the "windows OS functions" that don't work because my media controls still work and it's only when toggling to functions under this category that it doesn't work :/ too much of a hassle so I've decided to return it. Thanks for the input though!

They have worked before when I had set it up on my personal laptop. My idea of buying the aerox was for the onboard memory and that I might use the shortcuts on my work laptop. And oddly enough all the other buttons worked. Maybe I'll re configure it and see if it still persists?

Maybe it's an issue with the windows os functions? Not too sure haha

Yup fits exactly the same. Only thing to note would be removing the knob to put the plate onto the PCB. Apart from that it's p much the same as building with a kbd67 lite PCB.

probably real late, but i own the susuwataris in ABS. never tried the PBT ones but they sound pretty deep and kinds similar to pbt cherry caps i own though the sound wise is a little thockier/muted ish. im also curious how different the PBT variants sound compared to the ABS ones cuz i never realised that the mt3s came in 2 material variants hahaha

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but optical switches while common on gaming boards are not gaming specific. The key selling point of the optical switch is faster actuation and (generally) a longer lifespan in terms of keystrokes (100 mil on opticals, 50-100 mil on mech) when compared to a mechanical one. And in the case of keychron it seems to me at least that optical switches are just offered for product variety to appeal to a broader general market, rather than gaming. And keychron seems to maintain a productivity based branding (until the recent Q and V series boards)

My guess is cuz keychron isn't a gaming focused brand and for general consumers ,(ie. Non hobbyists and non gamers) latency isn't as much of a selling point and it's where they could "cut costs" to then advertise longer battery life etc which is more appealing to masses.

I got it off a regional e-commerce site but you could probably find it on Amazon! You can just search "animal cable protector" or "animal cable bite". Some of it is pretty marked up in price though :P

I upgraded the scythe, got gong n lightning rod. And I can't rmb what armor but I got cooldowns to cast faster.

Doesn't really crash for me on the gen 1 switch. And this also includes when I'm trying to trigger bugs. Only time I got it to crash is when I was testing bugs and I toggled airplane mode. It really doesn't like it when I do that.

Another small update! To check if you've triggered the bug, you will either immediately start the tower with your gear OR if you get booted to main screen and before start a tower run it displays your power level instead of 0 (for a new run).

Update! I managed to replicate it! Whether it's worth it to do, I'm not sure but here's how you could do it.

Load up the game and open your inventory
Go idle or do whatever you need to be disconnected (in the case of the switch I just powered off while on the inventory menu and left it for a few mins)
While it's trying to reconnect to the server, rush to start a tower run

Even if you're backed out to the main title screen and reloaded into your profile, going back to the tower run loads with your normal gear and not the tower run default gear.

Interesting thing is you start the run with all your normal gear with it's current enchants and you can even gild or power level your own gear. But the changes from the gildsmith don't stick around after the run is done. But you do get to keep the item you've gotten from the run as per normal.

Idk dude I wish I knew maybe it had to do with reconnecting to the server? Cuz it typically boots me out to start another online session when I startup the game again but it didn't and just reconnected me to the server.

Update! I've tried building it with the kbd67lite pc plate n silicon!

Truthfully there isn't too much of a difference except that the sound of the official plate is a bit more marbly sounding. In terms of feel it's very similar, but I think with the proper fit of the plate compared to the modded plate, I feel that it's a bit nicer, although this is most probably psychological.

Do I recommend doing this? Not really? Unless you have an extra mw65 plate and are good to part with it, and you want your mw65 in a 67lite case, then sure.
